The Hawaii Department of Health has reversed course. They now admit that they do - in fact – make some vital records information available to the public. This admission reverses their prior response pattern indicating that “no information” could be released.

So how do we know there wasn't a second Obama-Dunham ceremony in Kenya, or other country that allows polygamy.
If there was, how would that affect your analysis? There is one long "missing" period in Stanley Ann's whereabouts, pretty much anything could have happened.
The Hawaii Marriage License Application form, today's version, says "GROOM (MALE)" and "BRIDE (FEMALE)". Kinda quaint isn't it? :)
But intuitively, what fits the known timeline is that during the winter break at U of Hawaii, they went to Kenya and were married there. No one, even the investigators that were reporting to Israel Insider, has looked at the marriage in Kenya issue.
They did it that way because marriage in Hawaii would have constituted the crime of bigamy. In Kenya, a second wife is just part of the landscape.
If they didn't do a real civil law marriage somewhere, why did she spend the money on a divorce? The birth certificate was necessitated by the fact that they were in a real divorce proceeding instead of a simple annulment which would have been quicker and less costly.
As some one continues to point out, there is no evidence anywhere that they ever lived together after February of 1961 or for that matter any other time--so but for her affidavit in the marriage proceeding, you might have the legal argument that they weren't really even in a common law marriage.
They give you a marriage date--if they were going to just rely on a common law relationship in Hawaii, or a license, why did they use February instead of January or December or even November or October when they told the senior Dunham's they were going to get married?
The date they pick is in the winter break period--at the end of the period. Why did they do it then? Because they had a trip to get to where they were getting married coupled with other necessary arrangements.
Further, after that date, Stanley Ann disappears--she isn't anywhere again until August. He was in Hawaii going to school--his whereabouts were known and she wasn't there living with him. Where was she?

Makes sense to me. Even BO wrote in *Dreams* that the details of their marriage were *murky*.
Others have also questioned the whereabouts of Stanley Ann before her reappearance with a brand new baby.
That's just what I thought when I saw this last night, but we had to leave for dinner with some friends.
IF Stanley married Obama Sr. in Panama, then that would automatically be null and void, because it was bigamous. Only in Kenya was it legitmate--among Muslims who followed sharia law--to have multiple wives. And, indeed, there is some doubt whether, back then, even multiple Muslim Kenyan wives would have been seen as legitimate in the U.S. Sure, people could do as they liked in other countries, but they couldn't expect to have multiple marriages recognized if they wanted to be U.S. citizens.
I have theorized that this was the exact reason to go to kenya. Sr did not marry third wife in US but in Kenya. He knew he was already married. Who knows if Ann knew. There was a law about mixing statutory marriages and tribal marriages...so I am not sure how the fact that she was white would effect her ability to get married there. Could she go get a tribal marriage if the Sr’s father agreed? I don’t know.
there was also a later law put into place about polygamous marriages before some date...1971 or 1972 ..for people domiciled in the UK and places like it..such as Ann in the US.
It is such a mess with various laws and false marriages and multi marriages that I truly don’t believe they would throw out a sitting President when he might or might not be a UK citizen depending on what law you look at during what time frame and who in the UK would be judging whether they decided to give him UK citizenship at any given date.
To throw him out I believe they will need to see he registered as a UK citizen and/or had a UK passport.
I don’t know if they could have gotten a customary marriage under the law at the time as she was white. I don’t think they could have gotten a statutory marriage....

the other possiblity for her missing timeline is the Bay of Pigs participant’s email....with a cuban as the father - Francisco cundo. Ann could have gone back to Cuba...or she could have gone to an out of the way place like an unwed mothers home to see what the baby looked like..white daddy or foreigner.
A poster here said that Trevor was in touch with the Bay of Pigs guy. I assumed by Trevor he meant the guy from the New Zealand site.

Here’s a long shot. Could they have gone to Canada or Australia or New Zealand to get married? All of these were closer than Kenya and British Commonwealth countries which would be quite accessible to 0 Sr. Also since 0 Sr. had become a bit of a celebrity in Hawaii they could have wanted to go somewhere that he was unknown and no questions would have even been considered. Perhaps records from these countries or even some other Commonwealth holding in the Pacific area should be looked into.
