I always use the ‘account mechanism’ for serious business work, and have toy accounts for playthings. That way you don’t get business stuff out on the internet. It’s simple to set up separate accounts for separate activities.

I do not think I have ever been to a CNN web site.
I am sure as Hell not going to download anything from
those Marxist.
It would be almost as bad as going to PMSNBC on the internet.

As often as the CNN website screws up I doubt that they could pull off anything technical even if they tried. But I’m glad to know about this and would NEVER download some bizarre plug-in just to view propaganda.

This is peer-to-peer (p2p) software that CNN says it is “using to deliver higher quality video.”

Sounds like any other BitTorrent program. Which is getting more common lately. I think Windows 7 install has a p2p mode if you want to use that.

Whatever the specifics of this one, I’m happy to see businesses using BitTorrent to deliver content. Why set up a big server farm and pay for massive bandwidth when the users, with their almost unused upload bandwidth, can be sharing the data amongst themselves?
