Real Scientist Uncover Serious Flaw In Global Warming Data
The Strata-Sphere ^ | 9-282009 | AJ Strata

The statistical models used by the High Priests of Global Warming are using a newly identified and specific data set which wrongly produces decades of warming where none exists in the raw temperature data 0r other data sets. (snip)

Since all other data around the world is apparently showing little to no warming during the last few decades of increased CO2 production, then this revelation scientifically proves CO2 is NOT warming the planet.

Also the levels of CO2 are so dilute that their effect is negligible.

“To believe that CO2 levels can affect Earth’s temperature you must believe in Dilution homeopathy. “

And you can quote me on that.

Not a good analogy. Homeopathic remedies work.

I greatly admire Steve McIntyre’s work.

But he is a statistician, and uses his statistical skills to kill the AGW argument. If you consider statistics to be a science, then he is a scientist.

Go to http://www.climateaudit.org/?p=7168 and read comment #10. It gives a brief history of the “hockey stick” and how it was deconstructed. Someone needs to go to prison for fraud.

I've always subscribed to the "Hot Body" theory to Global Warming. I have not been able to wipe all the sand off this theory and that sure is a beach of a problem.

“CO2 is NOT warming the planet.”

How inconvenient.

Homeopathic dilution theory: Dilution is the solution.

Brown-recluse bite? Wash it really well and drink lots and lots of fluids

Werther,

We need more scientists of your caliber. Do not be diluted though.

“Not a good analogy. Homeopathic remedies work. “

Herbs yes, Homeopathic Dilutions based on “Water memory” Nope!

Water memory Dilutions are a myth and a scam.

Herbal remedies work, St. John’s wort and melatonin work great.

If water memory dilution concoctions work so well, then just take some water and dilute your food with it and drink the water and you can save a whole bunch of money!!!

There are good remedies for a Brown Recluse bite, that make it heal from the inside out and leave no scar, but that’s not one of them.

It’s your money and it is a free country, I hope it works out for you. You can blow you money on nothing but water with a possibility of one molecule of medicine in it, I will spend my money on full concentrated herbal remedies and industrial strength drugs.

I am an herbalist. I know the difference between herbal therapies and homeopathic remedies and the theories behind both. You obviously don’t.

How about Iocane Powder?

Other than building up an immunity over several years...

Sure, that will usually cure a spider bite. If not then start a land war in Asia. It won’t cure the spider bite but you won’t really care anymore.

>> I am an herbalist. I know the difference between herbal therapies and homeopathic remedies and the theories behind both. You obviously don’t. <<

OK let me sum this up:

Homeopathic Herbal remedies with actual amounts of herb in them measured in mg or g (Milligrams or grams) = GOOD.

Homeopathic preparations using serial dilution past 2X dillutions measured in the “C scale” = Nothing but Water and ineffectual.

>> Swimming pool

One illustration of dilutions used in common homeopathic remedies involves comparing a homeopathic dilution to dissolving the therapeutic substance in a swimming pool. One example, inspired by a problem found in a set of popular algebra textbooks, states that there are on the order of 1032 molecules of water in an Olympic-size swimming pool and if such a pool were filled with a 15C homeopathic remedy, to have a 63% chance of consuming at least one molecule of the original substance, one would need to swallow 1% of the volume of such a pool, or roughly 25 metric tons of water.

For further perspective, 1 ml of a solution which has gone through a 30C dilution is mathematically equivalent to 1 ml diluted into a cube of water measuring 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 metres per side, which is about 106 light years. Thus, homeopathic remedies of standard potencies contain, almost certainly, only water (or alcohol, as well as sugar and other nontherapeutic ingredients). Homeopaths maintain that this water retains some “essential property” of the original material, because the preparation has been shaken after each dilution. Hahnemann believed that the dynamisation or shaking of the solution caused a “spirit-like” healing force to be released from within the substance. Even though the homeopathic remedies are often extremely diluted, homeopaths maintain that a healing force is retained by these homeopathic preparations. <<

Don’t confuse the placebo effect with actual results.

CO2 in the atmosphere is so dilute that it has little to no effect on any perceived green house effect. Concentrations, not dilutions, have to be 10X as much before the effects even start to take effect.

!!!Sarc Alert!!!!

Or would you say that the CO2 in the air imprints upon the water vapor in clouds to increase the effect of CO2 in the air??? Imagine all of those clouds in the sky with “water memory” from CO2. At that rate all of the atmospheric water vapor on earth has been “imprinted/contaminated” by CO2!!! Holy Carp!!! Al Gore has some carbon credits I need to start buying!!!!

Your analogy is ignorant of homeopathic theory and AGW theory.

We already know this. the problem is the myth is already out there. It has been proven for years that CO2 is absorbed in the oceans, and is released with heat. The warming releases CO2, not the other way around. Sun spots cause the heat. We have no spots now, ergo the cooler climate. I don't think we can affect the spots. The school books already have the myth printed, so we are doomed for the next 10 years or so. The climate morons are in power, so we might have 20 years of crap to deal with.
