Dear New York Freepers:
A few us young Republicans are encouraging conservatives to march in this year's Village Halloween Parade.
The purpose is to present messages in theatrical, over-the-top formats, by dressing in costumes and carrying banners, etc., that will provoke thought and reactions on the part of liberals, and show our presence to conservatives in the City.
To become involved, please join our Facebook group here:

Here are some of my suggestions:
Call your line of March the B. Bernice Young Alimentary Worshipful Church of the Most Magnificent Kenyan. By the way, who was B. Bernice Young to get a school named after her?
Buy a bunch of that little book of quotes of Obama and set some of them to song while waving the books-or use some of his quotes not in the book- “Mine eyes have seen the glory of all 57 states” On second thought, buy them second hand so the author gets no royalties.
Finally, being this is the Village, to get them really excited (and you’ll probably win the prize)hold up a big sign saying “Obama loves the little children” and immediately behind it have someone in an Obama mask performing simulated sex on a child. Again since this is the Village, preferably male.
You asked for over the top.

We are at the other end of the state - BUT you gave me an idea!
I’m going to cram as much information on some business card stock to add to treats for the 100 or so trick or treaters to hand to their parents!

Ya know, an Obama-as-joker mask should make a killing!

Maybe you should get 787 billion marbles to symbolize the stimulus. Be careful though, if they got spilled on the roadway during a parade, it could cause problems, thinking closing scene from Animal House.

Took me a while to chance the connection down, thanks for the fun.

I’ve been meaning to ask you all morning: What does it mean to “chance the connection down”?
Just wondering,
