Here is a poll that wants to know who Sarah Palin, or Duncan Hunters's running mate should be for president if either of them win the Republican nomination for President in 20012.

Ok, it may be early, but what the heck, it may be good for discussion purposes if nothing else.

My tag is my prediction and the date I called it. I do think it will be an outstanding one as well.

Too soon to say, maybe more will step up.

Some names to think about (in the political realm): Sarah Palin, Duncan Hunter, Jim DeMint, Michelle Bachmann, Alan Keyes, Fred Thompson, JC Watts ...

Others I like (not in the political realm and doubt I’ll see): Thomas Sowell, Star Parker, Gen. Petreaus, Mark Levin ...

Others may pop into mind but I think it’s too soon to count my options.

It’s definitely time for something besides the good ol’ boy whose turn it is.

When will the R’s learn? Ford? Dole? McCain?

Sarah plus - she picks, ‘cause Lord knows I can’t think of anyone - Then Ann Coulter and Robert P. George for Supreme Court!

Hunter as VP.

Like Hunter portrays ineptitude anything like Biden.

No mater if Hunter presented himself like Zig Ziglar, the MSM would paint him in a bad light.

Given the racially charged atmosphere, which is increasing exponentially, the only way to defeat Obama is to offer a black candidate, with Palin as the VP. Possible names are:

Alan Keyes
Condi Rice
J.C. Watts
Michael Steele
Gary Franks
Alveda King

Not Mark Levin. He’s too emotional. He’s good at getting a crowd whipped up, but I want someone more like Reagan: calm and strong.

I like Condi, but not as VP or POTUS. She was left of GWB.

Not Alan Keyes - something about his personality. Not Condi Rice - too liberal. Not Alveda King - not enough political experience. Don’t know Gary Franks.

Look, we’re going to desperately need someone that knows govt inside out, has a proven conservative record, creative, innovative and capable of leading and BRILLANT. I know a lot of people will throw tomatoes at me but I only know of one person who is all that - Newt Gingrich. I know...I know...he marital baggage is terrible but he appears to have found the love of his life who can work side by side and support him. We’re not going to find a perfect human being. But I truly believe that Newt could jump in there, get the support and run with the ball. If he doesn’t do it this time, he’ll be moving toward the age problem. As for vice president, he knows this country well enough to be able to choose the best individual who can support him. I also think he’s very winable. Can’t wait to hear from all the Newt haters.

Agreed!

I want a woman prez, but the RIGHT woman...AND this would be Sarah. You know blacks got the vote in 1870 and women got the vote in 1920. I sure hope there is not a 50 year gap once again.

Time for PALIN!! I know she can kick Obummer’s Ace in a race.

We don’t need any more weak-kneed politicians who will fold at the first sign of opposition. We need true conservatives who will stand on their principles no matter what. That’s why my dream ticket for 2012 is:

Sarah Palin/Liz Cheney
