For me it's reversed. My liberal relatives (uncle especially) kept bringing up politics and I finally told them that I'd rather not get into political arguments with them because all it accomplishes is that we annoy each other or worse. They're otherwise great people and if we don't talk politics we have a really good time together. So, I don't know what they think of Obama now. I am guessing that they still support him though.

Now the media and the Democrats, for the second time in a decade, are putting their political interests ahead of that of the country. First they tried to lose a war to discredit a President they hated, and now they seem to be willing to inflame racial animosity to enable one they love.
