As we all know, the Obama controlled media has went above and beyond the call of duty to downplay the 912 Project Tea Party in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. Its been completely laughable, to say the least.
We wrote about this earlier, and supplied plenty of photos and video. But it seems the Obama controlled media has its orders to cover things up, and they are doing their very best not to disappoint their Dear Leader.
The media in other countries have no such slavish devotion to Obama.
All of the evidence points to numbers between 1.5 and 2 million attendees at the event. There are overhead crowd shots that clearly demonstrate the crowds were some of the largest ever seen in D.C. for a gathering of any kind.
Everyone reports that D.C. for every intent and purpose was shut down due to the incredible amount of folks who came from around the nation to protest big government, Obamacare, communism, and the general wrong path government has us on.
But one of the best pieces of evidence is provided by USA Today. They were kind enough to provide an estimator of Barack Obamas January inauguration.
You can easily use the handy gauge USA Today has given us to judge the crowd at Obamas big day, to gauge the crowd size at the 912 Tea party.

Geesh.
ORielly is still reporting 75,000. So much for fair and balanced.
I was going to post that, too. Also, last night, O’Reilly seemed to show only the most radical posters and showed a counter protester being heckled. I didn’t see anything particularly bad about the posters, but he was making them out to be inappropriate. He didn’t show the other 99% of the signs. I saw a previous post that the counter protester was pretty much ignored (I wasn’t there so can’t confirm).
I love the coverage of our Tea Party :) That is sooo cool, and really gives you a feel for the seemingly unending stream of patriots, beams.

O’Reilly likes to stake a middle ground somewhere between the truth and the lie. Lately, he’s moving closer to the lie.
I barely watch him anymore.
******
I don't like Obama because I believe he is a liar and a fraud, especially when it comes to the way he is vigorously fighting to keep the American public from seeing his Hawaii long form birth certificate and his college records from Occidental, Columbia, and Harvard.
However, while the crowd looked huge to me, the Washington, D.C. fire department says the crowd was less than 100,000.
So I'm sorry, but I will have to believe the DC fire department estimate until I hear something different from an official government agency.
But I think that liberals and Democrats who shout that the march was a failure better be careful what they say, because the next anti-Obama march, if there is one, may be twice as big and may even reach the magic number of 1 million anti-Obama protesters.
This is good. The MSM could report facts accurately, but add their leftwing spin. This would keep them in business for a while longer. But, what they are doing is intentionally misreporting facts. Who needs to invest their time in being lied to? A media that refuses to report the truth is of no value to anyone, even those who may agree with the leftwing spin.
They are putting themselves out of business. I encourage them to continue the process.
Thousands turnout in Los Angeles for the 9-12 project and only one station covers it briefly. Fox claimed they didn’t know about the event and the others said they didn’t have enough crews. This is a major market so that excuse doesn’t fly. They just didn’t want to cover it.
Next time we go out, let’s take signs that say something like, “It’s the issues, stupid. Not race!”
Fox is far more fair and balanced. O’Reilly is only one host.
DC Fire was wrong. The Park Service came out with an estimate of 1.8 million (I think). It was over a million.
O'Reilly has his nose out of joint at Beck's support and is deliberately downplaying 912 because Beck was involved....he's a petty little man.
Can you imagine BOR rallying a million patriots?
I’ve been to the Indy 500 many times (I live in Indy). that’s around 400K. I was also at the DC Tea Party. Trust me, less than 100K don’t fly, unless they got that number at 8AM when people were just starting to gather.
You’re probably right about O’Reilly and Beck. O’Reilly appears to be a jealous man. And no, I can’t imagine him rallying much of anybody.
