I am so glad I get to say, I was there!
This was the most incredible event I have ever participated in! Walking down Pennsylvania Ave. with all those people! We were singing, there was praying, the pledge of allegiance was said, there was a moment when the entire avenue erupted in a giant shout! It was like a wave that started from the back and slowly moved up the avenue. It was incredible. You could hear this giant shout from behind you moving closer and closer like a wave,, louder and louder and then it just swept over us and everyone just shouted USA and other shouts!Pictures

People were so friendly! I was standing on a fountain for a few hours and people were handing me their cameras to shoot pictures of the crowds because of my view! Strangers were greeting each other, people would say excuse me when you bumped into one another, it was like this giant family of people.

Because our side is Right, and our side is Decent, our side is Truthful, and our side is Moral. Our side is what makes American strong and decent. We are not common gutter trash that turns out based on what the Unions tell them to do. Nope. This is pure and sincere and home made and from the heart and what America USED to be and what it CAN again become.
Very heartwarming.
That crackling sound was the sound of corpuscles snapping in the brains of many liberals from sea to shining sea. If it is the rebirth of Ozzie and Harriet America, so be it. I want THAT America back. The libs and bolsheviks know this thing is growing and is getting out of control and they are going to get run over by the great steam roller of the Average Joes and Janes who just stood up and said, Nope! No MORE!

My 77 year old diabetic F-I-L went to the march yesterday. It took him 2 hours just to get on the METRO train. I’m so proud of the efforts everyone made yesterday. Thank you patriots one and all!

Who cares? We know how unbelievably powerful it was. Let it inspire and encourage all of us who believe.

You know,, you are right. What we all experience was what America used to be. Right there on the Capital was a group of people,,, A MILLION OR MORE STRONG,, all coming together as one. Kind, decent, generous, courteous, helpful to one another,, and all enjoying themselves. All happy! All involved! And you know what else the dirty little secret was?? That group was every size, shape, age and color!!
I saw people there from all kinds of nationalities! I spoke with a woman who had a heavy German accent from Illinois. A had conversions with several black Americans, conversations with several Asian Americans. There was a black singer that went to the microphone,, I do not know who she was,, but she introduced herself and her first words were "I am not African America! (long pause) I AM AMERICAN!!!" The crowd just went nuts with shouting and flag waving!!
Yes,, this was a microcosm of what America really is because the people there were the people who make America work!!!

One of the speakers said that ABC estimated 1.5 million. That’s what they’ll admit to. All I know was it was people as far as the eye could see and everyone was very friendly. No garbage thrown around , people would talk to you out of the blue about whatever issue , even the porta-johns were clean, no graffiti in evidence. Overall it was very uplifting.

"
Does anyone have any kind of reliable OFFICIAL estimate of the crowd size???" Homeland Security had access to all hotel, and transit data, and their crowd scanner data, in addition to photo grammetry, and they said two million.

great good came out of this, mostly psychological. it shattered for ONCE the notion held by a lot of people in the country that "am I the ONLY ONE who thinks this place is going to hell under the Obama?". isolation and hopelessness have been blown to smithereens, and replaced by confidence and self-empowerment, and from there on it shall pyramid and grow. yes, there is hope yet, freemike. we just have to continue to be humble (especially when we pull off a major victory) and not get cocky, still keep praying on our knees, be strong in the face of setbacks which will come, and keep taking the fight forward and into the enemy's camp and face until we so totally overrun their positions in a total politcal rout. it is coming.

Egads! Where did Homeland Security say that? (I hope this is true.)
There were helicopters flying overhead constantly, filming, and when they have photos of the area, it’s very easy to calculate the numbers.

Amen!
Also,, there were lots of Christians there! Saw a gazillion Christian signs.
On Pa Ave, there was a red truck parked in the middle of the street with Scripture on it. This guy had a microphone and just kept saying “You lie!” “Obama!” “You lie!”
It was funny. He was doing it in a comical way and the march went right around his truck,, around both sides,, and people just loved it! It was funny and great at the same time! People just cheered as they walked by.
