I haven't seen this one before and I hope most of you haven't either, but I though all could use something to brighten this sad day.
The Lie Clock
A man died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter's desk at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him. He asked, "What are all those clocks there for?"
St. Peter answered, "Those are Lie Clocks. Everyone on Earth has a Lie Clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move."
"Oh," said the man, "whose clock is that?"
"That's Mother Teresa's. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie."
"Incredible," said the man. "And whose clock is that one?"
St. Peter responded, "That's George Washington's clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Washington told only two lies in his entire life."
"Where's Barack Obama's clock?" asked the man.
"Obama's clock is in Jesus' office. He's using it as a ceiling fan.."
Oldy but goody!
You haven’t seen this before? Where have you been. This joke has been around many times with many other clocks used as the desk fan — clinton’s clock; hillary’s clock; a generic lawyer’s clock; etc.
Well I have not seen this before either... GREAT JOKE!!
I guess you must be extremely old? Just kidding!! LOL
These type of questions used to bother me greatly. I would ask myself often how I would answer the question. After memorizing Ephesians 1:5 "in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself ."
Those "out of every tongue, tribe and nation" he has chosen out of dead humanity. Will be there... Trophies of His Grace.
At the Great White Throne instead of Judgments, they get Rewards. And instead of a question by Peter at some "Pearly Gates", the words "Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." is heard.
