The 8-year-old will not be charged with a crime. However, some parents are raising questions about how the boy was able to slip out of the school.
I would probably be more concerned with WHY the kid thought he could get away with stealing a vehicle and ditching school than "how the boy was able to slip out of the school".

I have a realtive with a very rambunctious boy. When the boy was 6, he was picked up by police on the other side of town. He was on his bike, "running away from home". He got about 5 miles away.
The boy is now 11 -- and his Dad is teaching him how to drive a car.
I wonder how that will turn out?

Boy, Car Dealer Review sure doesn’t know cars. The witness said it was a Minivan, not a SUV.

Why was he not charged with a crime?? What does this teach the boy? He’ll be in and out of jails all his life, I wager.
