Obama to change the term Euthanasia (/satire)

Once in a while, Gentle Wind, one of our super-secret Wishes who works closely with some folks in the White House, well, he sends us an update on some of the deeper "inside" initiatives, maneuverings, etc. that are going on there. All of this is highly "off the record". Here's what he managed to fire off at about 1am this morning regarding Euthanasia and where he sees it in the next 4-20 years...

"I am against euthanasia, but not because I think it is wrong, because in truth there is no such thing as ‘wrong’ without a metaphysical origin for morality. In truth, euthanasia doesn’t go far enough because it doesn’t address adult-onset diseases like conservatism and/or right-wing nationalism. These ailments have been shown to be somewhat loosely tied to genetics in a couple of different ground breaking studies. Sadly, these studies have been buried by the right-wing media (not to mention Faux, which isn’t really ‘media’ at all). Our Leader actually does have a plan to re-word the term “euthanasia” sometime in the near future, with the end result being the inclusion of specific social diseases that infect adults as well. No doubt we’ll see more of these fake “town hall” riff raff show up demanding that their precious “rights” be protected, and we’ll nod and make reassuring noises, but rest assured...we will prevail."
