His rulings
10/5/09 Defense Motion to Dismiss to be heard. Carter indicted only a very strong compelling reason would move him to dismiss at this point. He will review the defense’s 9/4/09 MTD. He wants to hear the case on it’s merits. Discovery to be ordered 10/5/09 if MTD is thrown out.
1/11/10 Pre Trial Set- procedural for other motions, depositions, scheduling, etc
1/26/10 Trial Date Set- Earliest available date for Justice Carter.

Showing up in the courtroom, when he could have stayed outside the country, would seem a pretty good indication of his feelings on the matter.
The big thing is that his affadavit is the crowbar to get the Hawaiian Long Form.

1. Acknowledges paying a bribe to obtain despite the sealed order (sounds reasonable to obtain)
2. The act of filing knowing the severe impact if he was dishonest makes the document even more compelling.

Judge forced Orly and Kreep to work together over their objections? I have heard she can be difficult to work with. Kreep appears to be a solid guy. I hope he checked out Lucas SmitThey may make history and save the Republic.
I hope somebody is Calif with money is hiring some legal talent in the background to help.
