Here is CBS News' "Washington Unplugged" video where Politico's Andy Barr and Media Strategist Nick Ragone agreed that this week is a "make or break moment" for President Obama. CBS News' Bob Orr led the discussion.
They talked about the disastrous course Obama has been on the past six to eight weeks, and said he must succeed Wednesday night in regathering momentum to pass his Health Care legislation. Otherwise, he could lose the whole battle.
How can the administration get back on top and hold their own against their critics? "Don't get off message . . . it needs to be health care, health care, health care for the next 2 or 3 weeks . . . He can't get distracted into other things…He's got to get it done now or it's going to be lost." says Ragone.. . . (VIDEO)

It is not the message but the messenger, we do not trust him. We do not trust those that represent us,nor the govt in general. One can put all the lipstick on this pig but it is still a pig.
I agree that we should keep the heat on, I think some other distractions may be in order. I wonder right now what Glenn Beck has up his sleeve. He’s the man right now.
Anyhow, I think Obama has lost the trust of the American voter on the issue of healthcare and can’t get it back. He was finished weeks ago. The only hope for him is a swine flu pandemic that he can parlay into a legislative victory using fear or the so-called ‘nuclear option’ in reconciliation. I don’t think Democrats have the cajones to do the latter, but Stretch Pelosi is a crazy old bat and Dingy Harry is an arrogant SOB, so it wouldn’t surprise me.

These analysts are are going to join the ranks of the unemployed sooner or later. Obama’s in a bad way and could eventually shoot off both feet in the hopes that the nation will feel sorry for him being an amputee, but don’t underestimate his power while he occupies the office. He’s doing everything he can to foul up our country regardless of whether voters love him or hate him.
Wanna bet there’s a staged crisis or disaster in the works?
Does not help that there is no coherent message either. The man does not have it in him doubt we will get one Wednesday either. I will miss it anyway I must have something better to do then.
Compared to this to this bunch, George W. Bush was pretty good at actually being president. Despite the nonsensical charges agains his administration, his foreign policy was pretty steady most of the time. He sent his people down to work with Congress. He made some unforced errors and some of his policies drove me nuts. But he took the job seriously and he worked hard at it.
None of this can be said of what is going on now. I have never in my lifetime seen anything as chaotic and messy and incompetent as what is going on now.
