July and August have not been good months for the Democrat Party or the White House. Public opinion, nationwide, has turned against the Democrat's proposed health care reform legislation, violence in Afghanistan has risen, job losses continue to mount and just Saturday one of the Presidents close advisers was forced to resign. Just when the President thought things couldn't get worse, he now knows that even his home State of Illinois has turned against his Health Care plan and economic policies.
A Chicago Tribune poll conducted of 700 registered voters over the last four days of August showed some troubling signs for the President in his home state...

Ah, I see that you've been there!
I think the notion that Barack Obama will not be renominated in 2012 now has to be seriously considered.
So where do the Democrats go? Hillary?
Hildebeast.
He already is... this will be prime time affirmation of his communist credentials.

Sorry, but I don’t, and I believe I speak for a majority of Americans, want a health care bill at all, no matter how few pages it has. What is needed is tort reform and competition across state lines for insurance companies, these two things would lower cost significantly on health care. As for the health care itself, the less government we have in it the better it will be. Kill the Bill and bury it.
While Obama’s IL approval ratings have slipped, he will still carry IL without any sweat in 2012.
Maybe he should start over, give a speech like he did in Germany, free rock concert and beer on the mall in D.C. with the Washington monument in the back ground.
At this point, she may appear to be the lesser of two evils as a Democrat candidate in '12. But when it comes to Marxism (or whatever 'ism' you want to call it), her approach may be more trojan horse compared to Obama's bull-in-a-china-shop.
She's still Hillary Clinton, which means I still don't trust her.
A democrat presidential primary season in 2012 with a re-match of Hussein and Hillary would be entertaining beyond belief.
If these two Marxists go toe to toe again, I’m going to seriously consider going into the popcorn business.
Almost certainly Hillary.
In fact, it will be surprising if she’s still the SECSTATE after 2010 or so.
this will be his undoing - ego is a powerful force
I’m not sure it’s Obummer’s HEALTH NEGLECT
bill that people have turned against. Based on the
company he keeps and his actions, we now have a context
by which to understand what his words really mean.
We’ve had just enough ANTI-TALKSIN to become immune
his “pretty talk”.
Obummer’s dirty deeds cancel out his white washed words.

Pride goeth BEFORE destruction and a haughty spirit BEFORE a fall.

I was on the “front lines” in 1980 and I can honestly say I have never seen the conservatives more organized, educated, and savvy than I am seeing today.
In 1980, the press hated Reagan and made fun of him but at least there was some attempt to have balance. And people trusted them more.
Today, the press has become like a bad accident to the American folks. You know it’s bad but you have to look now and then to see how bad it truly is
Chicago is 85%. mind boggling.
The best things that happened for Reagan:
1. Jimmy Carter and the misery index.
2. The Iranian Embassy hostage crises.
3. The question he asked during his campaign...
“Are you better off today than you were four years ago?”
[... I have never seen the conservatives more organized, educated, and savvy than I am seeing today...]
1. They thought by now the sheeple would be illiterate, thanks to public education.
2. They never factored in the internet. Knowledge is power.
3. They are arrogant, elitists who’s foul stench can be sensed the moment they enter the room.
