Wasn't Barack Obama supposed to be the guy who was loved all across the world. During the campaign didn't they do public opinion polls that showed how the Obamessiah was the choice over McCain in all of our allied countries as well as our enemies? Those days are gone. Remember how he he upset the entire country of Great Britain by dissing their Prime Minister; no state dinner, no press conference and to top it all off President Obama gave the Prime Minister a crappy take-home gift, old DVDs that were in a format that couldn't be played in a Great Britain player.
That was nothing compared to the latest diss by our Imperial President. Do you remember how the US had a fit when Abdelbaset Al Megrahi, the terrorist responsible for the Lockerbie bomber was released? Well apparently the POTUS knew all along, and the British government is not playing along. They have told Obama to quit bitching because he knew about the negotiations for the release almost from the beginning.

Your link mentions nothing about the McCain congressional delegation being informed about what eventually became the release.
The evidence we do have now is that Obama and Hillary knew about the release every step of the way.

FORMER Presidential candidate John McCain yesterday warned Libyan leaders Washington is “resolutely opposed” to the release of the Lockerbie bomber.
Can you find any American media that reported lord McCain's objections? IF as is claimed that Washington is "resolutely opposed" to the release then why wasn't lord McCain allll over US media saying the same. It is not like he is never exposed to our media and or even the Senate floor. And even by what is reported in a UK news outlet lord McCain still went and PRAISED the Colonel.
This is just like something McCain and his merry band of backstabbing rinos would do to the victims. Peace, peace! We don’t have a brain nor ounce of loyalty and honor between us!
These rinos are true citizens of the world and I am wondering what these foreigners are doing in our US Congress. I fully expect this kind of backstabbing from the Demonrats.
I agree. They went to make deals for oil just like the Brits. It sure wasn’t for ceremonial Arabic swords. Instead of promoting domestic drilling or any other domestic energy production McLame and his stooges are trading influence for contracts. All the good campaign money is coming from foreign sources these days.
The article, quoting the official Lybian news agency, does not connect the dots between McCain and the freeing of Megrahi, or in any way indicate that he or the Congressional delegation on that trip were apprised of the impending release.

To: All A day or two after this terrorist was released I called Senator Jay Rockefellers Senate Office to express my concern. Rockefeller sits on the Senate Intelligence Committe and I wanted to know how the committee missed the ball on this. The staffer answering the phone said that the Senate Intelligence Committee Rockefeller sits on got a “heads up” on this release and did not have a problem with it. He then said “Why are you concerned about this, it didn’t have anything to do with the United States anyway”. I had to point out to to him most of those killed were Americans.
