It was a Boston news outlet that quoted the official Libyan news agency. Now it cannot be all that difficult for them to point blank ask McCain what he thought. Or to have included something from State side from anyone of the trade deal crew that accompanied McCain to Libya. And below is report made by a freeper who called Senator Rockefeller. The silence out of Congress connects the dots for me.

To: All A day or two after this terrorist was released I called Senator Jay Rockefellers Senate Office to express my concern. Rockefeller sits on the Senate Intelligence Committe and I wanted to know how the committee missed the ball on this. The staffer answering the phone said that the Senate Intelligence Committee Rockefeller sits on got a “heads up” on this release and did not have a problem with it. He then said “Why are you concerned about this, it didn’t have anything to do with the United States anyway”. I had to point out to to him most of those killed were Americans. Actually, just mythoughts, BOTH items you posted from boston.com are from the wire news services, AP and Reuters, dateline Damascus. Real Americans there. The stories are so similar that both obviously were based on a JANA (Libyan official government news agency) press release. But you are choosing to buy those stories lock, stock and barrel.

You will find an American story on McCain’s pre-release position on freeing the terrorist right next to an ABC/NBC/CBS/MSNBC/CNN/NYT/WaPo story about Van Jones and his Communist connections and Truther petition before he resigned.
