But as far as disgusting goes, I'm thinking, the garlic butter fritter would be pretty good.
I know a guy who was going to start a deep fried bacon stand at the MN State Fair. Fell through because he was negotiating for a loan for another business and the lender insisted he drop the idea for fear he’d eat some of his product and die before he paid back the loan.
True story.
I’d suggest they take the deep fried butter and wrap it in bacon. mmmm

But deep fried butter makes no sense at all. It's not even interesting as “fair novelty food” (ala the famous deep fried twinkie). There are a few lines I just have no interest in crossing.

Chicken-fried bacon rocks. Well, chicken-fried-just-about-anything rocks as far as I’m concerned. I never met a strip or hunk of bacon that I didn’t like.
The deep fried grilled cheese was nasty though. Way too greasy, and I love grilled cheese.
