HR2749 The Food and Safety Enhancement Act coming up for VOTE in SENATE. BEWARE THE RESULTS!
Canada Free Press ^ | 09/04/09 | kackikat

Posted on 09/03/2009 7:09:51 PM PDT by Kackikat

According to Gunny G Online: “This astounding control will include the elimination of organic farming by eliminating manure, mandating GMO animal feed, imposing animal drugs, and ordering applications of petrochemical fertilizers and pesticides. Farmers, thus, will be locked not only into the industrialization of once normal and organic farms but into the forced purchase of industry’s products.”

HR 2749 creates severe criminal and civil penalties, including prison terms of up to 10 years and/or fines of up to $100,000 for each violation. Does it include judicial review, Congressional oversight, a defined and limited set of penalties and punishments for a defined set of “crimes”? Not even. The so called Food Safety Bill hands carte blanch enforcement to the whims of Obama’s Food Czar.

She may not have made connection, as many are wanting to protect our food supply from e coli problems we had last year....and then there was the peanut butter salmanella. It’s their way of using a crisis again to push a left agenda.

This bill is insane. It hands our food production over completely to giant international corporations. How can Democrats vote for this? Something is very very wrong in Washington.

Bachmann’s district is about three miles from my house. I’ve met Michele and know her to be the real deal. Phone calls are in order tomorrow.

As a former criminal justice instructor, it is clear to me that anything NOT EXEMPTED in LAW can be fined and treated same as bad companies...that includes personal gardens, farmers markets, small farms that depend on selling produce.
Living in a rural area means using local produce, this could cause that to end...just look at paperwork involved and inspections that could end so many small businesses and farms from operating. Not to mention how one fine could cost you everything.

Think of environmentalists and what they have been able to do with water and wetland legislation. WE are in WARS WITHOUT GUNS AGAINST AMERICANS...and they do it not to be charged with treason!

“That was when we were posting this bill in HOUSE, and it passed, and is going to Senate now. Please write your rep to stop this Food Safety Act of 2009, it will starve us and be as bad as Healthcare Bill. Read and Research articles and people listed on Post.”

Thanks for the heads up!

Tell Bachman to check on WHO/COMPANIES get the contracts to grow food, and who is exempted and who isn’t....we must protect ourselves for future access to growing our own food if necessary.
Beware the global watchdog Codex Alimentarius, and check on I G Farben/codex in germany in WWII.

The object is to get rural people off their land because it has strategic military importance. Think Red v Blue. Think people that cling to guns and their religion. Think cutting off irrigation water in California’s Central Valley. It’s rural cleansing and it is going on now with no one watching.

That Bilderburger list seems incorrect - there are no Rothschilds nor a certain name connected with the CFR that MUST be on the official list.

U R welcome, and we have to watch out for each other. This bill is treacherous, and is labeled just the way they always do, as something good. It’s Food Safety ACT, just like FAirness Doctrine, and we know how fair that doctrine is....so just how safe will our food be?

The states need to start seceding from the union. This can't continue. Either we dismantle federal power in Washington and return political power to the people through local and state government or we leave.

Thanks. Good points. I’m an avid gardener as are most in this area. I haven’t had to buy any vegetables from the store for three months. It’s either from our garden or the guy down the road with a huge garden, little stand and an honor box.

I’ll report back on what I find.

"Check the CFR meetings and I think she was there last year, if not, then maybe she just did not understand. CFR would promote this as good thing, but it’s NOT."

Yes, it's related to foreign trade deals, too. I've spoken against some very popularized candidates because of that (see tagline).

The globalists can try to scare us as much as they like. I'll be no-vote until we see a truly conservative man as a Republican candidate for the presidency. IMO, we, the working class, "Neanderthal" trash, will survive the new depression better than the anarchist, corporate/government/academic NIMBYs describing themselves as "Galt." And we won't be buying much of anything to support the business-government-academic racket with revenues, before we see some old-fashioned, morally conservative leadership. The spoiled, effete (and yes, socialist) people imagining themselves to be a fictitious, Russian, fascist, "professional" character from a book will starve before we will.

IMO, the elite are hurting only themselves by shutting down their precious "organic" food preferences to suit their masters in corporate governments. We "proles" will continue gardening for ourselves.

This bill is about starving the American people. Wait for the coming dollar implosion. Food will cost double what it is now.

Then try to grow some food.

You haven’t seen anything yet. This is about neighbors finking on backyard gardens for the express reason of confiscation of your property while they throw you into prison. If you are a Zero, you will be safe. Everyone else, well, that is the point, isn’t it? Destroy America.

Starve and steal. Coming soon to a neighborhood near you.

If you eat bad food and get sick due to lack of nutrients, and don’t have decent healthcare, then history repeats itself:
