In the beginning, the congressional town halls might have been loud but they were never violent, but once the Democrats began to encourage unions and other organized groups to confront the opponents of Obamacare, that all changed. It started with the indecent in Saint Louis, where Kenneth Gladney was attached by members of the SEIU. Yesterday's rally in Thousand Oaks California was the most violent ever:

Notice the tone of the article the link went to. The protester is called “anti-healthcare-reform” as opposed to “anti-obamacare”. I’m certainly not opposed to healthcare reform, I am just opposed to the currently-proposed methodology.

i am totally against health care reform... as there is nothing wrong with our health care. everyone gets treated if they need it (if not, please give me the names of the hospital and doctors so i can file a lawsuit... i wouldn’t mind the money)
at issue is health insurance. their whole thing is ‘health insurance reform’ but that doesn’t endear anyone to your cause. so, they tweaked the name
the only problem with health insurance is that it’s too expensive. this would be due to the 25 m illegals that currently get CARE (see as proof for above).
the proper solution would be to require all illegals to be booted at once. if it’s still too expensive, then pour money into scholarships and grants for medical education. you could also forgive some medical school loans, dropping the fees of doctors and nurses... but i’m not for that as much.

However, I would also like the law regarding "anchor babies" to be recognized for what it originally was, and was meant to be. It was never intended to be used to grant citizenship to anyone simply born on American soil. Get rid of that issue, then much of the healthcare costs go away, too, as there would be no incentive to sneak across the border to have a baby.
I can punch an SEIU member in the face just as easily as the next guy......no problem at all.

The pro-Obama jerk should not have pushed the 65 yr old man. The old man should not have hit the jerk. The jerk should not have bitten off the old guy’s finger. Any armed patriot nearby “should” have put a small entry wound and a large exit wound in the jerk — but it’s not worth it!
Everyone with a brain knows to ignore what Dem pols — especially including the Liar-in-chief — say, and watch what they do. Protestors have made their point. Better to stay away, or walk away, than to risk injury. (Of course, if you’re one who goes armed, and a jerk bumps or pushes you, you *may* “fear for your life” and drop him.)
None of our grandchildren will be in public school on Tuesday, and I’ll be real busy sorting nails and screws on Wednesday night. Fox will tell me what Obummer had to say, and I’ll brush it all off as irrelevant or obvious lies. He has said, “I favor single payer,” enough times so we know anything he signs will include a path to it. He has acknowledged the need to cut or ration care to seniors enough times so that as far as I’m concerned, he has declared war on us. The question is, when will we old codgers declare war on him. We’re pretty law abiding, but when he takes his Dimocrat congress people behind closed doors, we’ll KNOW that he and they are working treason.
Therein lies a large problem. If this administration works its foul way this year, we my vote many of them out next year and discover that we can’t undo their damage. Like the armed patriot at the CA town meeting, we “should” act this year, but “I. Don’t. Want. To.” Dilemma, dilemma.
We need the government to keep their face out of our health care, we them to kill the bill.
I did. I also worded my post poorly. I seek the same thing - tort reform, competition, illegal immigration, all would lower costs of healthcare, which is the type of reform I want.
I think a lot more conservatives should give these brownshirts “the finger”
