It’s only the multi-generational government school indoctrination that makes home schooling seem daunting and and even subversive at first.
It takes a while for the family to settle into, but once you do, it’s easier and produces much better results than what you’re accustomed to.
It also doesn’t take any special skill to be a good home school teacher. You’ll be amazed at how much knowledge you have to share with your kids.
You probably need to de-program your daughter/son first and then once you’ve re-established your parental authority, the initial difficulties should melt away.
Keep at it, you and your family will be much better off for the effort.
Take care.
