TIMBER !! Gallup Reports Democrat Party Support Continues to Fall
Gallup/The Lid ^ | 9/2/09 | The Lid

Posted on 09/02/2009 2:50:44 PM PDT by Shellybenoit

Talk about a lousy summer vacation. Ever since the health care debate became headline news the Democrats has seen their dominant lead over the GOP shrink. Gallup has a poll out today that says the the once record-sized Democratic Party lead of 17% has shrunk to a meager five points at 45% to 40%. Just before the President took office the gap among Americans calling themselves Democrat vs Republicans was a formidable 52% to 35%.

This poll confirms similar results from Gallup, Fox, and CNN all showing that Democratic Party support is falling. Much of this drop in support has to be from the concern over health care, or the exploding deficits, or even congress rushing through legislation with out even reading it.

The Democratic party shrinkage seems to come from independents moving from leaning Democratic to leaning GOP. Read more below:

Gallup is trying its best to find samples that will keep Obama at 50% approval.

There are few polls I take serious. Ras/IBD is probably the closest to decent.

It really doesn’t matter. The crucial figure is his crash among the Independents, who realize that they were scammed big time by the Leftist from Chicago.

I am Proud to say that today, I have turned my most liberal of friends into an anti Obama person.

Truth be known, he did it pretty much by himself in regards to the health care issue.....I just gave him a little push.

I am a happy person today!!!!

You got that right!

A good (liberal) friend has been emailing anti-healthcare reform stuff this week. She was all about Obama just before the election, starry-eyed and talking about how he “inspired her!” Not any more. Just wait until he pulls the plug on the internet. All hell will break loose.

I just hope and pray that good, decent, CONSERVATIVES continue to join our military because I feel certain there will come a day when Osamabama declares himself to be supreme dictator for life and a military coup is the only means of removing him.

Whassamatter, independents? Crippling debt, bald-faced socialism, unemployment, foreclosure, financial ruin, and poverty isn't the sort of "change" you thought you were voting for last November?

We tried to warn you!

Yes, do tell.

I am a specialty purveyor within the entertainment industry, on a local and regional level. I attract a venue of musicians, DJ's, Variety artists almost daily. I am NOT a talent agent. My own specialty requires me to maintain secrets

I had a few musicians over today just to jam and relax. (No druggies need apply.)

My good friend's drummer, also a good friend, began expressing an uncertain dissatisfaction over his his previous vote last November. He was mostly over halfway there.

I was calm, almost nonchalant.

I own a small specialty store catering to a certain part of the variety industry. I have always remained circumspect, politically.

I decided to let them know exactly where I stand. I laid into all of them!

I cited a multi trillion dollar budget
I began to bring up their responsibility to the Constitution. (We're in our 50's ).

I finally found one of them who was willing to admit he was wrong.

Rockin’ Keep helpin’ them see the light. Hopefully, they’ll all come to their own terms and senses of things and finally see the truth. :)

Yeah? She’s into the SEIU securing control of health care? LMAO, wait until they strike like they do in Ireland and Germany!

well, apparently she has seen the light and is horrified at the prospect of obamacare.

Background-
She is a breast cancer survivor. 3 years ago, during the course of ONE WEEK, she found a lump, was given a biopsy the next day and had a double mastectomy by week’s end. Then started chemo asap, followed by radiation and reconstructive surgery. All her follow-up tests have shown her to be cancer free. She’d be long gone under Obama care, dying while waiting for that first biopsy.

I told several people when this lying clown was elected I could see tanks in the streets of Washington DC ending the nightmare. I'm sure the military leaders have had "discussions." And I'm sure Obama doesn't trust the military either, it's necessary for a civlian force, just as well trained, just as well funded."

I’m glad she’s seen the light.

Would also like to add that if you are diagnosed with cancer, there are ALL KINDS of philanthropic groups to help you with what you can’t afford to pay. The hospital social workers can guide you.
