I have been watching the political scene for nearly 20 years and without doubt, I have never seen such a visceral reaction to a Republican candidacy--as is the case with Kirk. In fact, there are a number of web sites and blogs dedicated to exposing Mark Kirk's stand on the issues. I have never seen such a visceral reaction to a Republican candidacy--as is the case with Kirk.
We had one in Connecticut against Weicker. The effor successfully ousted him. Lieberman was actually an upgrade.

Liberal Republicans are a plague and a large part of the reason why the GOP has a credibility problem even as the Democrats are imploding.
