We Have Come For Your Children III
Stephen Kruiser ^ | 09/01/09 | Stephen Kruiser

Unfortunately, the first two installments of this were lost in the server move debacle a few months ago. It all started with a top-down coordinated effort by the Obama transition team, teachers unions and public education officials to tell the youth of America why the new president was the coolest kid on the block. Taking the cue like a perfect union automaton, my daughter's 5th grade teacher then sent an email detailing the bash (including a potluck brunch!) they were going to have for the inauguration, complete with the lesson plans distributed by Team Lightbringer.

Had there been big elementary school love-fests during the inaugurations of George W. Bush?

**crickets**

OK, had any incoming administration ever had the audacity (couldn't help myself) to begin directly indoctrinating school kids through its life partners, the unions?

"Can I get a Hammer & Sickle in the house?!?!?."

Now, as my daughter begins middle school, she'll be treated to a kickoff speech by the president himself! Better yet, the Secretary of Education has taken time out from the task of asking for more money and delivering fewer results to send along some downloadable talking points to help mold the little minds.

Yet another “conservative” who loves to complain but won’t give up his “free daycare” welfare entitlement.

Virtual schools are almost perfect, other than having the state-controlled curiculum. With H1N1, even more reason to find a cyber-school near you. If my daughter gets an assignment that's too left-wing wacky, I substitute something else and do the liberal crap myself, it's kind of like shoveling sh**, but better me than her...

Right because if you can’t home school you’re not a conservative... fail..

...homeschool, university model school, Christian school, distance learning school, dame school, coop arrangements - yes, there are no alternatives to offering your child up as a living sacrifice to government and its high priests.

I hope the stuff and the personal time is worth it...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Or...Stephen is the type of conservative who wrong believes that government schools could be “reformed” if only conservatives could run them.

Fool!

So arrogant with so little knowledge... Growing up I didn't have stuff, I had six siblings and two parents who worked to keep a roof over our head. They were, and are loving parents that did everything they could to see we were fed, clothed, and given the Gospel. So Ill thank you to take you're "I'm so wonderful and if you do as I do you stink" and stick it in a place that smells a lot like your opinion.

Hitler lives!

Isn't reincarnation great?

How about the sheeple who have continued, for the past 2-3 decades, to incarcerate their offspring in these government indoctrination institutions. They are the true enablers for the destruction of this Nation.

What do your parents have to do with it? I was one of eight and was send to public school too. But at least our parents had the excuse that the pathologies of the government school system were far better concealed then and certainly far less advanced than they are now.

None of us have that excuse. While I make no claim to be wonderful, I would not blog about how terrible government schools are while receiving “aid to dependent parents” and giving my children to our highly trained government education professionals in full knowledge that government schools are simply reeducation camps for the left.

I think that your reaction is angry and vulgar because your conscience bothers you.

My reaction had anger because folks who completely lack empathy for the state others might be in turns my stomach and is very, *VERY*, unchristian..

I have empathy, but it is still a question of priorities.
