JOHN KERRY "CHANNELING" TED'S THOUGHTS

John Kerry has taken on a new persona. He apparently is communicating with the dead. Not since the days of Mary Todd Lincoln, has Washington D.C. experienced this phenom! For those who might not know, Mary Todd Lincoln took to holding seances in the White House after the tragic loss of her young son William from typhoid fever. Now it seems Kerry is doing the same after the death of Ted Kennedy, in hopes of channeling Ted's thoughts into the Democrats health care debate and passing reform legislation.

On ABC'S This Week with George Stephanopoulos the topic with Kerry was health care and the chances of getting bi-partisan support from the Senate on any forthcoming proposal. You could plainly see that Kerry was leading into his "what would Ted do moment" and in his serious...but sincere tone said: "Here's what Teddy would do. He'd say: 'I'm going to fight the fight, and if and when we get to the point that we can't get there, we'll see whether or not we can do enough to make good happen out of this. And you can't make that measurement today." He also went on to say that Kennedy would fight for the public option and "do everything in his power to get it," but "if he didn't see the ability ... to get it done, he would not throw the baby out with the bathwater." Watching John Kerry and George Stephanopoulos was like watching a re-run of "Dumb And Dumber"

Ted Kennedy was always for health care reform. It was a political passion and a government run system with the public option is what he wanted to see. John Kerry is now saying that Ted would take something less, even though right now is the best opportunity he would have ever had. Unfortunately with Ted's death there is no longer a super majority in the Senate and not all Democratic Senators are on board the "Obama Ship". So Kerry is saying that Ted Kennedy would accept a compromise? Highly unlikely. Kennedy, barely in the ground 48 hours, is probably ready to reach out from the grave and choke him.

When John Kerry speaks of Kennedy as the great communicator, ready to compromise, reach out across the isle and forgo partisan politics, he speaks for himself not Kennedy. Ted Kennedy would be bringing down all his power and influence to strong arm wayward Democrats in the Senate and Congress, basically forcing them to tow the party line. Kerry is doing what he always does best, trying to save face, admitting defeat without really admitting it, and then say it's what Ted wants, as if that justifies his compromising position with the flaming liberals. He knows the American public is against a government run health system along with its public option.

If John Kerry is telegraphing thoughts from the grave, it must be from his dead and buried presidential bid not those of Ted Kennedy. Go back and work on your book John..."Trying To Stay Revelant."

If you are a fan of the Kennedy’s you will be offended.

But you cannot deny this Brits biting sarcasm,humor, and truth telling

I thought you might “enjoy” a British view of Ted Kennedy and his clan, given that we will all be deluged with Ted Kennedy remembrances for the next week or two. Nothing will be said about him here that would be derogatory (even though true) so it might be interesting to have at least one British view from the standpoint of a nation that Joseph Kennedy was willing to throw away and have the USA join up with Hitler during WWII. I remember that position very well but now America’s newer generations probably never have been exposed to the history of the Joseph Kennedy clan.

BBC Radio 4 is in deep mourning. The enormous barrel of lard, serial womaniser, liar, and coward, Edward Kennedy, has finally gone to the great cess pit in the sky. One of the great idols of Selfish Champagne Socialism is no more.

Lace handkerchiefs and grief counsellors abound in every department of the world’s greatest propaganda service - but most of all in the offices and studios of Radio 4(Scotchland). The man mountain has been mentioned more than one hundred times in the past hour. We are in for a month of wailing and gnashing of teeth that has not been seen since the death of the Peoples Princess.

Forget Jacko - - - Fatso is the new News.

This deeply dysfunctional family first came to prominence when 20the feckless Joseph Patrick (Joe) Kennedy, US Ambassador to the Court of St James’s in London - and Nazi sympathiser, declared that the Germans will defeat the British and the Americans should throw their hand in with Hitler and his bunch of murdering thugs. Ted Kennedy continued the family hatred by publicly supporting the IRA and other terrorist groups.

Joe’s wealth and empire was based on illegal trade (bootlegging) and shady deals with the Mafia during the period of US prohibition, and the same Mafia connections were continued by his sons JFK, Robert and Ted, although Robert fell out with Mafia boss, Jimmy Riddle Hoffa (you couldn’t make these names up, could you?) and had him assassinated by a regular hitman, Frank ‘The Mad Irishman’ Sheeran (possibly a distant relative of mine).

His second son, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, called Jack by the family and sycophants who claim to have been acquainted with him, but usually known as JFK to the general public, by using his mafia connections and the family’s ill gotten fortune became US President and, like his brothers, was regularly involved with prostitutes, good-time girls and actresses, most notable of whom was Marylyn Monroe, a relationship that lead to her death in suspicious circumstances, probably also murdered on the orders of brother Robert.

Edward, the great fat one, had no need of machinations, he had every whim g ranted. He didn’t have the brain for it anyway. His life was one round of parties, holidays and petty orgies. Friends and toadies would arrange for the local girls, who hung around hoping to get a party invite from the rich visitors, to be available when they came down for their debauched weekends. Nothing would have been heard about the dumb one except that his brothers were in turn assassinated and he also turned out to have a great yellow streak down his back.

The sorry tale of Mary Jo Kopechne at Chappaquiddick Creek is too well known to need repeating except to say that it probably prevented one of the most obnoxious politicians in US politics (and there are a lot of contenders for the title) becoming President. He was sentenced to two months jail for his cowardly act but never served a day of it. I should think he now faces eternity in the flaming pit - alongside the rest of his family and friends.

By the way, BBC Radio 4 has changed its programme for the next week or two as a mark of tribute to their hero. A British soldier who died today from wounds received in the defence of his country got 27 7 seconds. As the Yanks say - go figure!

In one of Edwards’ silver-tongued arguments to the jury on behalf of a girl born with cerebral palsy, he claimed he was channeling the unborn baby girl, Jennifer Campbell, who was speaking to the jurors through him:
