Bipartisanship -- that's when Republicans agree to do what the Democrats want.

If the GOP believed in any sort of limited government, they would compromise on nothing and do everything they could to shut this circus down.

Bipartisanship my ass. Enzi, and all Republicans for that matter, need to loudly hammer home the point that the people do not want Obamacare. These idiots are foaming at the mouth mad because Republicans aren’t going to bow down to them even though they have the votes to pass this crap. Gibbs can go chew on a rusty metal pipe.

Lol @ bi-partisanship.

Gibbs, I want to see you and your communist usurper in gitmo.

How’s that for bi-partisanship, pinko?

The worst thing for this country is for the GOP to compromise with socialists. You don’t compromise with your opponents, you destroy them. After you destroy them, then compromise.

Gibbs reminds me of a gay waiter I used to know on Rush street in Chicago. Good waiter, but fruity.

What bipartisanship? The Dems have made clear that they aren’t going to listen to the GOP because “We won.”

Would someone please explain to me what difference this *Gang Of Six* in the Senate could possibly make, whatever compromise they come up with re: a health care bill? This bill raises revenue, hence it must begin in the House -- are they going to tell me that they have some legislation that is going to pass the House, they will remove the language and insert a Senate compromise? And then THIS will pass the House?? Is that really the thinking here??

i’m with you and here’s another comment. If this comment is “clearly” Gibbs’ opinion then I think he should re-read long and hard his job description. Somehow he’s crossed a line here from voicing the obummer’s wishes, hopes and dreams to expressing his OWN opinion. Gibbs, just shut up

It’s that stupid, arrogant sell-out artist McCain that I’m worried about. He’ll RACE to betray the American people if it means a nice fluff piece in the Times!

When you realize that there is no good faith negotiation, you walk away. Good for Enzi.

I understand Grassley is about at the same point.

That leaves Senator Snowe.
