Yesterday, Rasmussen reported that 57% of Americans would throw all present members of congress out of their job. Today the research company published a poll giving the reason. Basically Voters do not believe that Congress knows what they are doing.
Two thirds of American voters (67%) do not believe that Congress knows what its doing when it comes to the economy. Don't despair congress, 29% are at least somewhat confident in Congressional wisdom on the economy.

you would have to brain dead to think congress is acting in the best interests of this country and its citizens.
“Yesterday, Rasmussen reported that 57% of Americans would throw all present members of congress out of their job.”
But they’ll vote them all back in next time.
This Congress is the worst Congress in the history of our country.
The poll numbers indicate that very strongly and they should.
In fact, over time I bet those poll numbers get even worse for the Congress as well as the president.
Congress is Byzantine in its corruption. Our reps go to the highest bidder. Frankly, I figure they’re getting while the getting’s good and preparing to decamp when TSHTF. However, I don’t know how they think they’ll really be able to cash in.
I have come to think of all the Travertine in DC as covered in s#!t and stinking from the pores of all the corrupt who live and work there. Harry Reid should look in the mirror when he speaks of “the great unwashed.” Like his hands can ever be clean.
Exactly
Too many of them still don’t get that. We have no confidence in them and nor should we. They have demonstrated the kind of incompetence that would merit immediate removal in any other profession. They are like little emperors with no clothes setting themselves out to be experts on fashion. How much more screwed up and how many more big lies do they have to tell us? They have carved up the constitution, they ignore the law when convenient, they lie about the costs of programs that then explode in cost after they are passed, they play the people against one another so that the most productive are pitted against the worthless and needy, they crashed the economy, bailed out the same cronies in the financial world who contributed ungodly sums of money to their election campaigns. What more do we need? The sad part is that 29% are clearly morons. Anyone who believes that congress understands the economy is either disengaged, stuck in dumbass land, or smoking too much pot to care.
Everybody seems to think, “All of them should be voted out of office, except mine and the other republicans/democrats.”
Truth is, the turnover of politicians needs to happen at the primary level. There need to be challenges to long held seats by members of the same parties.
Viable challenges.
True conservatives need to start running for every single political position starting from the smallest like city councilman or mayor to the most visible: Congressmen and governors.
Voting machines should come with a flush handle installed...
All ballots should come with a “none of the above” option.
Now that is a great idea
So the other 33% of the morons get the privelege of screwing up the nation?
On the flip side my excellent congressional rep. has a 100% conservative voting record (24th District Tx.) Unless Term Limits get enacted why mess with success.
OK-— I stand corrected...upon further inspection my rep averages about an 85% conservative voting record. Therefore I am willing to throw him out if replacing with another with a nearly perfect conservative score.
American Voters: Congress Has No Idea What It Is Doing
Fixed it!!!
Yep. I've been pushing that one for a long time!!
