While conservatives level complaints and criticism of President Obama's various policies, an obvious question comes to mind: What do liberals think of him? See for yourself how they see their man in today's "Geeks On Caffeine" cartoon. NOTE: The author of this comic requests that you visit his web site and please refrain from copying the cartoon within this thread. Thanks!!
I personally know four people who lead conservative lifestyles who are democrats and still like obama.
One is a retired fireman who is a Viet Nam vet.
The second is an administrative assistant.
The third and fourth are a lawyer and his wife.
Most of my family are liberal and they think Obama is doing a wonderful job straightening out George Bush’s mess.
Being of Medicare age I assure you ALL of the people I know who are seasoned citizens are having buyer’s remorse.
They know they are going to seriously suffer under Obamacare.
Those with parents of Medicare age are equally worried about their parents and what will happen to their medical choices.
Seems to me the dems are only pro choice when it comes to killing your baby in the womb. All other choices belong to the government.
Sorry to hear you have to put up with a liberal family. My friend has that same problem, and it caused problems during the last 2 presidential elections. Even though she tried to avoid conflicts, her grown Republican sons got into e-mail arguments with the relatives.
Good stuff. Thanks for posting.
My 85 year old mom told me that this is the first time she has ever been scared following the election of a president.
She see's many parallels with the Germany of her youth.
The only people we know that didn’t vote for O were those elderly refugees from eastern block countries.
They knew and they are as worried as your mom.
Bless her.
One of my very elderly relatives who died last year said to me one day in March/April of 2008, “I am afraid of that man,” pointing a finger at 0bama. At the time, I knew the person was more ‘there’ than here, and thought it an odd statement, as I didn’t think quite the same way (although opposed to 0bama). I did wonder, though, what my elder was seeing, and so the comment has stayed with me ever since, complete with a cryptic but knowing look in the eyes—especially considering that there had been several brushes with death in the previous few months.
"Republicans: Pro-Choice Before Conception, Pro-Life After"
"Democrats: Pro-Choice Before Birth, Anti-Choice After"
In fact, I like it so much, I think that will be my sign at the National Tea Party!
