Its not scientific, but does represent the opinion of a large and fairly diverse group of Americans.
A poll on the social networking site Facebook shows the following results from (at the time) more than 423,000 participants answering the question, Will you vote for Obama in 2012?
The results:
Yes = 101,881 (24.0%) No = 301,549 (71.2%) Undecided = 20,306 (4.8%)
By a margin of nearly three-to-one, at this point in time Americans are not inclined to re-elect Barack Obama when his first term in up in 2012.
Thats good news, if the country survives until 2012.

Encouraging...BUT...it is soooooo early.
Assuming Obama-controlled elections are fair, that is.....don’t expect this.
A poll on Facebook showed “no” votes 3 to 1 over “yes” votes for Obama in 2012.
That is a big part of it!
Let us pray.
But how many of 'em vote?
Maybe he’ll just leave?
I assumed FB members would still be very pro-Obama .. their average age is probably 25, so that would be cause for optimism if the GOP could only get its act together.
A start would be if fans of Palin/Romney/Huckabee could focus on why we should vote for their candidate instead of why the others are worthless, no good, rotten, miserable pieces of trash.
Ya think, just talking to people I run into, and not soliciting the information, I get the impression that this clown and most of congress leaving office tomorrow wouldn't be soon enough. Not scientific, but.........
lol... a facebook poll
Look.. if the economy is humming along come 2011... forget it, he is back in office.
We aren’t even at mid-terms yet! Republicans have all sorts of time to screw things up!
Encouraging...if the trend continues and the country survives until November 2012. But then the world is supposed to end in December 2012, isn’t it?
Every so many decades Americans need a Carter or Obama to remind them how bad things can be when voters get stupid, and our lesson from 0 is far from over. The Obamascare is just getting started. By 2012, the pop fantasy that is Obama will have morphed into our greatest nightmare.
Too early to think about 2012. We need to take back the House in 2010. That will make Obama impotent (he’s already incompetent).
Pretty much meaningless 3 1/2 years before the election, and particularly since we have no opposition candidate chosen.
Anyone who cannot think for themselves and read a teleprompter 24/7 is more than incompetent..
I do, and most of the people I connect with on Facebook also do. I think more than half of them do (no factual basis for that, though), and a lot of those below voting age reflect the sentiments of their parents.
I think the poll is useful because it reflects a general feeling that BHO isn’t doing very well.
I take it as a positive sign, but as someone else said, it’s very early in the game.
That’s a very big if, given the already taken steps and the health care and cap-and-trade issues, which are anti-economic growth.
Time will tell.
