American voters are not satisfied with the amount "Hopey Changey" they have gotten since election day. According to the latest Rasmussen Poll , 57% of voters would vote to fire the entire Congress and start all over by replacing them with a new set of "representatives." Only 25% would keep the group we have now.
Even though they are the party in control, only a plurality of Democrats (43%) want to keep the entire Congress. On the other hand, the vast majority of Independents (70%) would "throw all the bums out." Republicans, not surprisingly, overwhelmingly support replacing everyone in the Congress.

On the other hand, the vast majority of Independents (70%) would “throw all the bums out.” ........................ He’s got that right.
Yep, I’m in the majority here. Throw the whole corrupt lot of them out, starting with Rangel, Pelosi, Reid and everyone else!
Unfortunately they mean throw everyone out but their own congressman.
No offense but that opinion is not very discerning.
I for one plan to vote for the challengers this time around.
What I don't understand is if we have 20-40 year professional politicians ("lifers") in Washington, why did our forefathers set up terms for congress in the first place, to give the "lifers" a break from the beltway so they can go home and campaign every few years?
Check my tag. The ‘Rat are at best Socialists and the GOP kisses the ‘Rats butt crack. The one party cartel has to be thrown out. They BOTH suck.
A sure entry level voting strategy.
Any candidate that recommends term limits gets my vote!
“I for one plan to vote for the challengers this time around.”
I do too but I live in California so getting rid of my Dem congessman and two dem senetors is only a pipe dream.
“Unfortunately they mean throw everyone out but their own congressman.”
Exactly. There may well be a ‘94-type tsunami in ‘10, but you can bet in the districts that that are gerrymandered to assure either a Democrat or Republican, the incumbent will get reelected by roughly 2:1. Does ANYONE think Barney Frank would be voted out of office?
Do we know, of the 435 Congressional Districts, how many are really ‘swing?’
Pubie primaries are still broke and time is running out.
Let's just keep the ones who believe in and honor the Constitution. We wouldn't want to throw out DeMint or Bachmann.
Not necessarily true, when I say throw them all out, I mean all of the bas*****. I think the majority of people on this poll mean that also. People have pretty much had it with these a**hat who think they are our bosses instead of the other way around.
I live in CA also, but I have a Republican congress critter(one of the few)but he, like many, is a RINO to some extent. Lundgren, but better than a Dem. I missed his town hall he had in my area, due to critical doc appointments and haven’t seen any news on how it went. My senators, of course, are the same two witches you have.
Count me among those who want to throw the bums out.

No, that's ok. I can do without my current congressman. NO PROBLEM.
