A few months ago the Obama Administration floated the idea of federal control of the internet during certain emergencies so as to protect the national interest. Now there is a real bill to do just that, promoted by Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-NY). The bill would, among other things, give the federal government authority to shut down private internet services.

Healthcare takeover.
Immigration reform.
Seizing control of the internet.
Gun grabbing.

All are flashpoints. Obama is looking for a fight but he wants us to be the ones to start it. He will keep pushing and pushing until it all blows up -- and then he'll say: "Well! Now I have no choice! Call out my brownshirts -- I'm about to restore order around here."

Zer0’s idea of national security is a busload of union thugs shouting “Yes we can” to the Barbarians at the gate. Shutting down the internet in a time of “national” security is to stop others from rising up to stop the oppresion.

President Weewee “could” get his Obamacare, ‘could” get his ‘ISP control” but once the 2nd amendment suddenly becomes illegal, well..sometimes we need a Fort Sumter and a Boston Tea Party now and then.

We are at the boiling point, does O really want to push it any farther. Take a look at the angry Americans, yes Americans, not terrorists or radicals. Americans who built this country with their hard work!

Seniors seeing their latter years stripped away from them with his rationed deathcare, have nothing to lose, obviously & I believe these good Americans are just about ready to take their country back~!

He is trying to push a socialist/marxist/communist agenda on a people who have been free their entire lives, it is the precursor to a revolution & if he & his socialist backers don't see it, then they are fools!

It would be interesting to get people to attend tea parties wearing Guy Fawkes masks. Open carry of guns is one technique, but it makes some folks very nervous. Guy Fawkes sends the same message, is marginally less confrontational, and allows people who do not own guns to blend in and look every bit as committed as those who do own guns — it thereby magnifies the implied threat.

Obama has selected the “czar” of his new Emergency Internet Management Agency. The acronym for the new agency is ENIMA. The person chosen is a Dr. Goebbels (photo below) who described the mission statement of the organization: “To purge any crap about der furh -- er – President Obama out of the internet by any and all necessary means.” Herr Doctor reminded the interviewer that failure to comply with the rules and regulations to be administered by ENIMA will be dealt with “most harshly because ve know ver you live.”

The author misses both the threat and the intention ...to shut down the free flow of ideas and communication.

If we must have a Democrat controlling the Net, I’d prefer it to be the guy who invented it.

In the case of the Kenyan, an 'emergency' is ANYTHING AT ALL that he says it is.

(Ain'tchu got de playbook, pally?) Oh, and you might also read 'The Vampire Economy', which is available to read online, an "on-the-ground" recounting of the workings of the Fascist economy in Germany after 1933.

Both fascinating and, given the current goobermint, terrifying. Dull in its prosiness, but WELL worth the read.

Time to review the options that American citizens have to deal with unconstitutional actions by each branch of government acting individually or in combination with another.

And then there's the doomsday scenario of all three branches acting in concert to impose, say, totalitarianism.

Any legal types up for a discussion?

Please spare me the "legal procedures in place," the "rule of law" blah blah blah...

Clearly, those concepts are no longer valid, due to abuses the Founding Fathers were not capable of understanding, let alone instal precautionary safeguards against them.
