As of 10 AM CT, T.S. Danny was located about 320 miles northeast of Nassau and had max winds near 60 mph. Danny is not moving consistently to the northwest but that is the overall general direction of movement at about 13 mph. A general northwest motion is likely for the next 24-hours and then a more northerly turn is anticipated with an increase in forward speed.

TS Danny will bring high surf to the East Coast for the second weekend in a row and he may still clip portions of the U.S. In addition, a new tropical system is being watched. Learn the latest with this post

I hope that Danny strips Martha’s Vinyard off of the US and flings in into the Atlantic.

I was kinda hoping it would arrive during Ted Kennedy’s funeral procession along the shoreline and a big rogue wave would come along and well... poetic justice.

I watched a CNN meteorlogist a short time ago. he showed the storm was moving more to the west by about 60 miles than any of the computer models are predicting. The result is two potential points for landfall at either the North Carolina outer banks or New England.

Tempting...Barrington? All I’d have to do is find replacement ammo for the .45 I blew off out at the range (ya, right).

I usually go to Firing Line in Manchester or to the Belmont Firearms Range. Finding ammo has definitely been a
major PITA. I was able to pick up a couple of boxes of Winchester .45s last week, but as for 9mm - as they used to say on the Sopranos:
fuhgeddabouddit. There are none to be found. BTW: for anyone who is interested in shooting,
here is a great resource for NH ranges and sportsmen's clubs:
