In December 1917 Bolshevik Russian leaders, including one of the founders of Socialist thuggery Vladimir Lenin, established the ChekaRussias first political secret police. With almost unlimited power, the Cheka implemented campaigns of terror against the wealthy, land owners and those who opposed Lenin and Bolshevism. !n 1922, once most of Russias opposition to their new absolute rulers had lessened, the Cheka was disbanded.
However, under the singularly oppressive Josef Stalin, Cheka was reinstated and ultimately renamed The Peoples Commissariat for Internal Affairs (NKVD) and what would be known as Stalins Great Terror of the 1930s began.
The NKVD was used against any and all Russian citizens who opposed Stalin or those who had the audacity to practice their religious beliefs. During this time period, hundreds of thousands of them were sent to the then frozen wasteland of Siberia.

he didnt attack it ........he gutted it.
Bad history here. The Cheka was never disbanded. It was renamed and reorganized but had a continuous existence from 1917 to today. The Cheka became the MVD, then the OGPU, then the NKVD (mentioned). The NKVD was later reorganized into the NKGB and then the KGB, which is now the SVR. Along the way, 60,000,000 Soviet citizens died. Nice fellows.
if he was trying to build his own domestic internal security apparatus, wouldn’t he attack the FBI instead?
i think the fbi is his already
