Voters seeing through Obama's poll-tested lines about health care

n a deliciously ironic piece, Joanthan Weisman at the Wall Street Journal talks about how the Democrats spent literally years poll-testing and trying to find just the right words and phrases to sell nationalized health care. In other words, they wanted to know how to fool enough people into thinking it was not nationalized health care. The problem is that you can call something a warm, creamy treat, but that doesn't mean it isn't a still pile of crap.

Noticed the dems have started saying the phrase level playing field public option.
Doesn’t exactly roll of one’s tongue, now does it? But Govt. run healthcare sure drives home the point.

“You can’t polish a turd. It won’t take a shine.”

I post vids and articles all the time to my Facebook page.
In the comments section, I use terms like “government-controlled healthcare” “healthcare hoax” “ healthcare scam” “socialized medicine” and “government takeover of healthcare”.
I DO NOT EVER play into the statists’ hands and call it “healthcare reform.”

I used to use “Obamacare” because it pissed off the lefties, but they seem to have become enured to it. Now I have to find something else to get their goats ;’}

Oh, once you loose those funny sunglasses that make you see skittle-shitting Unicorns and chocolate bunnies all dancing in a field with the world's Dictators, it's pretty easy to see the simple truth of all that Hopi Changi blather...

The effort began four years ago, when a center-left coalition of advocacy groups, union leaders and health-care experts teamed up to try to change the language of the health-care debate. The Herndon Alliance, named after the northern Virginia suburb where proponents first met, included the AARP, Service Employees International Union, the American Cancer Society and the liberal health-policy group Families USA, among others.But, of course, the AARP never endorsed the plan -- officially. They just helped craft it, strategize it and promote it. But they didn't endorse it -- officially.
Trust them.

Have you seen the ambulance commercial put out by AARP?
All they need to make the commercial complete is to have John Edwards chasing it.

I would nix the *socialized medicine* until you have the listener conversant with the results of that. At this point, people thing *socialized* means free, unlimited access and just what they are used to, only now paying for.
Otherwise, I agree with your approach.
