Irrespective of whether or not you want to call them ‘death panels’ or not, when you have people empowered by government to make decisions on whether or not specific treatments/medications/procedures etc. are going to be paid for after a certain age, or if certain co-morbidities exist, you are empowering them to make decisions that are essentially life or death. Your dismissal of this reality is not very smart, and clearly not accurate.

The Obama administration says they don’t want death panels. This statement, together with the circumstantial evidence, means they do want death panels.
