Despite the fact that the President is alternating between blaming those evil republicans and the evil insurance companies, the real hold up of Obamacare is the Civil War being waged in the Democratic party between the blue-dogs and the ultra liberals.

For example, yesterday the self-declared most powerful woman in the world, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, threw down the gauntlet:

Maybe I’m too much the cynic, but my first reaction is “how will the RINOs and the Beltway Republicans manage to screw this gift up?”

This is about the only thing good that has come out of this “administration”. Anyway, they’ll simply do something illegal to get this passed....people will start to disappear or something...

It’s a beautiful thing!

Believe you me. I understand your concern. All we need is for the Republicans to gain power again and they use that power for their own personal gains. That's why I believe so much in term limits for Congress.

“how will the RINOs and the Beltway Republicans manage to screw this gift up?”...I hear you. But even Peggy Noonan is on board killing this obomanation of a bill. Maybe there’s hope.

For me it is just a given. But then, that is because to me it is like being a Jew and deciding between Hitler and Stalin.

My loss of faith and confidence in the Republican party reached completeness last year. And it was like making the decision last year to sell off a long held stock and, a year later, seeing it down another 50%.

And KNOWING you made the right decision.

My feelings about the Republican party are not unlike the feelings many here have of the Democratic party.

That’s the problem with the centrists, they screw the agenda of the more dedicated dogmatics of their respective parties.

I’m as cynical as you and I wonder how anyone in their right mind can believe that the yellow stain blue dogs won’t screw us in the final analysis. They’re for sale to the highest bidder.

Exactly.

If they were united on this they'd have jammed this down our throats a month ago so fast our heads would spin.

Let's stand back, make a big bowl of this:

And cheerfully watch the Democrats go at it over the now-failing Obama health care plan.

If you get an email titled “Nude photo of Nancy Pelosi,” don’t open it....

It contains a nude photo of Nancy Pelosi.

It would make our life soooo much easier if anti-truth, anti-freedom, anti-life gangs/collectives that comprise the ‘rat crime syndicate killed each other off.

“...to get this passed....people will start to disappear or something...”

Possibly two things: First, Ted Kennedy will die and we will all be subjected to Kennedy, Kennedy, Kennedy 24/7, with accompanying endless interviews of how ‘wonnerful, wonnerful’ the Kennedys are/were and we need to pass ‘healthcare’ for Uncle Ted, blah, blah, blah...

Second, Obambi and Rahm will manufacture some overseas ‘emergency’ that The One will have to leap on a plane and go ‘talk to them’ to keep the imaginary bad guy from pushing the nuke button.....does Israel come to mind....?

Then Dear Leader will return home in triumph and give some speech about how we need to ‘help our brothers at home in the same way that he just helped our brothers overseas’ and we must pass the health care bill right this minute.....blah, blah, blah

Problem,
No leader of any country comes to mind that would not giggle at the prospect of Obama solving anything.

How true. However, The One can always depend on the State Run Media to portray him as the second coming.....disgusting, isn’t it?

Nothing cynical about it - you're absolutely right. If we had a posse in Washington that owned a brass pair, D.C. would be on fire about now. As it is, we have a gaggle of 'go along, get along' eunuchs who couldn't coordinate a two-car funeral, much less an opposition on the offensive.
