Public opinion polls show what weve always known: That Americans want their doctors, not government bureaucrats, guiding their healthcare decisions. The attempt to ration care and, specifically, to place the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology in charge of what treatments doctors can and cannot pursue for their patients, has reminded Americans that conservatism, not radical socialism disguised as big government liberalism, is where compassion and common sense lie.
Even the media has finally been forced to report on the public outcry against socialized so-called medicine. If the TV media were this slow to report on non-agenda based items, youd hear Tea Dumped in Boston or Shots Fired at Fort Sumter, Breaking News at 11, as a preamble to this weeks nightly news, but thats a different story.
Healthcare isnt a campaign issue for me. Its a human rights issue, plain and simple. My advocacy against socialized medicine predates the time that this became a campaign issue and it will continue long after it has ceased to be the talk of the day. The ‘Senate’ is like the ‘House of Lords’.
True, but some Dem Reps see themselves as Upper Chamber kind of guys. They’re just missing a few lifeguard lessons from Massachusetts senators.
Past time for a two-term limit on US Politicians:
First Term in Office
Second Term in Prison
I wish them a happy life. Just a retired life.
