What happened at WaPo? They have gone from kissing Obama’s ass to asking tough questions of and about him.

Big Business loves Obama care. They can then dump a lot of liabilities to the government.

Don’t forget Plan B. Make rules that will bankrupt the evil insurance Companies so they have to get bailout money and the CZAR that comes with it. Make no mistake this is a Communist takeover.

The Obamacare package includes lots of “reforms” that will impact your current plan. You may not recognize it or be able to afford it once they implement all the mandated “reforms” and “improvements”.

Go ahead, you can keep it, if you still want it..

Maybe those at the WaPo have figured out “Oh right, my family will be at the mercy of this stupid Bill too.”

WaPo:

The legislation could also prompt some employers to drop coverage, congressional budget analysts say.

In a report last month on a bill advanced by House Democrats, the Congressional Budget Office said millions of people would gain employment-based coverage and millions would lose it. The CBO estimated that the number of people gaining the coverage would exceed the number of people losing it.

As for the losers, "CBO and the JCT [Joint Committee on Taxation] staff estimate that, in 2016, about 3 million people (including spouses and dependents of workers) who would be covered by an employment-based plan under current law would not have an offer of coverage under the proposal," the CBO said.

The devil's in the details. So spouses and dependents could be dropped, no doubt in favor of homeless folks, illegal aliens and the very poor. Not a good tradeoff in my opinion. Thank you Washington Post.

Thanks for posting, Bill. The statists are busy roughing-in the framework of another house of collectivism. They have many houses.

He is technically correct. You can keep it. You just can’t keep it long.

I’m a little bit kinder about it. He can say it all he wants, but it’s not necessarily his decision to make.

Actually, Heritage estimates that 88.1 million people would lose their employer-based coverage and would be moved to the government dole.

There's one thing that puzzles me. If insurance companies have to compete with the "public plan," and start dropping (or are forced to drop, due to the draconian rule enforcement in these bills) policies due to revenue loss, what will be left to provide coverage to Congress and government workers?

I've seen predictions that health care providers will simply become empty shells pushing government paperwork, but since Congress now has a variety of plans to choose from, from these same providers, who and what will provide coverage for the elite?

BO tells so many lies, it would be more newsworthy if he told the truth.

It’s still parsing, and they are a little late.
