Wow, there are a lot of people in the comment section saying they’re getting these. Pretty interesting. I hope they get to the bottom of it.
Reminds me of that Dharma & Greg episode where the aging hippy Larry Finkelstein (played magnificently by Alan Rachins) would be devastated to learn he didn't have an FBI file so straight-laced son-in-law Greg, the US Attorney, gets his buddies to manufacture one.
Maybe I better self-report to the White House Rat Squad.
Thanks for posting this. I received an unsolicited email yesterday from David Axelrod at the White House and can only assume this means I am among those on their “snitch list” if there indeed is such a thing. If that is the case, I can only feel privileged to be in the company of many, many good people! And once again I am thankful for the DELETE button. I posted this on the Fox site....so far there are 381 other messages there.
..since by law, they can’t get rid of all the emails, it should be interesting to actually see how much info was collected...and evidence for the upcoming impeachment proceedings.
Melissa Hathaway, White House Cybersecurity Czar, resigns Monday, August 3. Fishstaop program announced about the same time. Coincidence?
I sent an email to Major Garrett yesterday too. I didn’t sign up for the White House news letters but I did sign up for Obama’s campaign mail back last fall.

Or maybe that doesn't apply to democrats.
I’ve written to comments@whitehouse.gov on numerous occasions. I started getting some emails from the White House, but at the bottom of the email were directions to get off the email list, which I did.
But I’ll still continue to voice my opinion to the WH usually addressed to “whoever reads these before shredding them.” I figure why ignore the poor schmuck whose job it is to shred negative emails.
I ratted on myself the first day, and I’ve had no response. I feel neglected (sniff).
There was an article about emails overwhelming the Congress’s website(s). I have to wonder if the WH doesn’t have a forward/copy of its most ardent Hill supporters’ emails in addition to capturing those send directly to the WH?
These people wouldn’t let a simple thing like a law stop them from gathering the info they want. Who would enforce or prosecute?
