One question nobody has asked yet. Is this a violation of

Privacy Act of 1974 and Amendments

Or maybe that doesn't apply to democrats.

I spot read this. My recollection is that there seems to be something illegal going on here and the spot reading seems to support tha recollection.

Can you save some of us a little time and say in lay terms what sections may have been viloated and why?

I called and wrote both my congresscritter and one useful spinator yesterday concerning what I believe is an invasion of privacy and violation of both campaign laws by use of federal assets by political operatives such as Axlerod as well as the keeping of lists via flat@whitehouse.gov.

My letter is:

Yesterday I received an unsolicited E-mail from the White House and David Alerod which attempted to convince me that what I have read in the health care scam is not really what it says. I have not contacted the White House and want nothing to do with this administration and only want to see them vacate the premises by any means.

I called your office yesterday to complain about this unsolicited and offensive invasion of my privacy. Your staffer was quick to understand the root of my complaint but confused the event with the flag@whitehouse.gov protest you made last week, thank you for that though I wonder about the follow-up in the midst of all the other confrontations we are having today.

I told her that my privacy has been invaded by the White House, that Axlerod is a political hack and that using government resources is, I believe, a viloation of campaign laws, that it is illegal for the White House to keep lists of citizens for any reason, that the lies offered by Axelrod are insulting. More, I told her that the very existence of flag@whitehouse.gov is probably illegal since those who report “fishy” information are also supplying the names of persons who have not given permission for their names and information to be supplied to the White House. Furthermore, those messages with personal information and opinions now become part of the national archive against the will of those on whom have been reported. (the White House is forbidden to dispose of any communications and we “know” this White House would not viloate any laws)

I expcet you to loudly and agressively question these activities by the White House and demand an investigation that is far reaching as to their activities and motives. While you and the republicans may be powerless in vote maybe you can make these invasions on the righs of your constiuents and the trampling of the Constitution and rule-of-law known.

Here is a clue to something that I would be asking about. Melissa Hathaway, White House Cybersecurity Advisor, resigned on Monday, August 3 with effect from August 21. Flag@whitehouse.gov became active the next day. I woudl subponea her and ask her why she resigned. Maybe you consider this simply innocent coincidence? If you do, I have a bridge to sell you sir.

The very idea that my name and e-mail address are part of a data base maintained by this White House and the likes of Axelrod, Rhamm, Gibbs and Obama is at once offensive, repulsive and frightening and I consider it an overt violation of my liberties and a vieled attempt at intimidation. Just like a bully, if this soft tyranny is allowed to continue it will grow to something more violent. I shudder to consider the field day the thugs in this administration are having with military secrets and secure data bases.

By the way, if you had any guts at all you would propose to limit access to the keys of AF1 citing extremen economic conditions and excessive use compared to his predecessors.
