A health care debate at top of our lungs
The half assed Pilot editorial staff begins by "begging the question"; note the desperate need for change:
For decades now, the congressional debate over health care has been so distorted by politics and money that it has been worse than useless - it has been an active impediment to reform of a broken system that is too expensive, serves too few and rations care based on insurance company caprice.
The vast majority of people who - when asked - are satisfied with the best health care in the world may disagree.
The rest of the rant questions the motives, credentials, morals and intelligence of people who are exercising their right to assemble and petition their government for redress of grievances.
The Pilot's editors take the oh-so fake "above the fray" position while demonizing their opponents and telling them to shut up and sit down.

280 million people are too few?
The simple fact is that there is absolutely NO Constitutional authority for the current degree of government intervention in the health care industry, let alone this socialist scheme.
We need to rein in the Federal leviathan and get it back within the constraints of the Constitution if we are to preserver the nation for the future.
It’s time to take back the country.
Simple and to the point.
Start by taking back the GOP. Are you a precinct delegate for your county GOP?
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Another liberal paper, doing whta liberals do — just like the totalitarians whom they admire so much.
The Democratic news media is dead to me. I don’t pay any attention to it. They have the right to publish, and I have the right to ignore them. They do nothing but parrot the Democrats’ talking points.

Being the lemmings they are they are they have said we are not assembling peaceably.
Let’s hit them with the hard fact that they are readers of propaganda and not journalists.
Inside the inner chamber of the castle the kings squire hastily approaches the throne:
Squire: “Sire, the peasants are REVOLTING! The peasants are REVOLTING!”
Totally oblivious King: “Yes they are.”
The above scene is taking place in town halls and elsewhere, ALL OVER America, regarding Obama’s government run deathcare, “cap and trade,” “man made global warming” and amnesty for illegal aliens. Ironically, the attitude of most of those in power from our so-called “president,” on down to those in the House and Senate, is EXACTLY the same:
“The peasants are REVOLTING!”… “YES THEY ARE!”
Our so-called “leaders” choose to remain TOTALLY OBLIVIOUS to the reality of what is taking place and willfully refuse to understand WHY so many American CITIZENS (not surfs) are upset with their pushing policies and bills upon us that will enslave and hurt EVERYONE ELSE BUT THEM! The reason why is because they believe with all of their hearts that:
“All animals are equal, and some animals are MORE EQUAL than others.”
The American people are finally waking up and realizing that those in power believe that THEY are “MORE EQUAL” than the rest of us, i.e., those whom they govern; the VERY PEOPLE who have put them into power! They believe and act as though the rules and laws they pass apply to EVERYONE ELSE BUT THEM!
Americans are not going to let this stand because (contrary to what they believe) THIS IS NOT ANIMAL FARM, neither is it Venezuela, Cuba, Canada, communist China, North Korea or Russia! We live in AMERICA; a country that promises LIBERTY and JUSTICE for ALL, not just for those “animals” who deem themselves “BETTER” and “MORE EQUAL than others (read: everyone else).”
THIS is the reason why Americans are protesting and refusing to submit to Obama’s and the democrats so-called government run “health (death) care” program, because those in power, along with their entire extended families, ALONG WITH THE UNIONS AND ALL OF THEIR MEMBERS have all EXEMPTED themselves from being under the same program they are trying to FORCE upon everyone else.
We are NOT animals! We are Americans!
THIS IS NOT ANIMAL FARM! This is America!
It is high time that those in power realized this, unless they want to join the ranks of the last king, former aristocrat/autocrat who when faced with similar circumstances had the same attitude and audaciously said: “Let them eat cake.”
