There is a rumor flying around that a protester was dragged out of Claire McCaskil's town Hall meeting tore up a picture of Rosa Parks.
Anyone else got a real link to this? Or is it just a fabrication of the liberal blogs?
Precisely, we would shun Nazi types. I remember seeing anarchists at our tea party in Phoenix and everyone gave them a wide berth like the parting of the Red Sea.
His shirt has “volunteer” on it....the Senator told CNN that everything is “OK”, that he was just removing the sign she had been holding up...(she came in late)....he went over and grabbed the sign because the woman was breaking the rules...she then started battling with him.
The Senator said there was no racism involved...that the woman broke rules...and the man and woman got overheated.
I saw the volunteer on it too and wondered. But why rip up the sign? Just take it from her. I really did not look into CNN coverage of it though, but I don’t understand why the guy was arrested.
Im sorry. I really didnt look at CNN coverage of it though, so I might have been relying on the youtube videos of it. I just don’t get why the guy was arrested if he was a volunteer like his shirt said. That is what made we wonder, that’s all.
They’re fairly active in the northwest, mostly disributing flyers and preaching about the inevitable race war that will purge us of our sins, very John Brown-like, but from the opposite perspective.
Same guy who stuffed the Koran down the toilet in Gitmo.
Do you actually read? I said Nazi types are not allowed at our demonstrations. We police the ranks and would not associate with them should they show up. I did NOT say there were Nazis at our demonstrations. I DID say I saw anarchists. I should have said they appeared to be anarchists. The evidence was their signage and general demeanor.
Perhaps, she missed part of the First Amendment that states that one cannot carry posters of Rosa Parks at a town hall meeting.
And also both we and the left seem to be making a bit of an assumption this woman and her sign supporting the bill...
But this woman may of been trying to make a point about being able to make public dissent
This would fit with a Rosa Parks sign
And would fit protesting to be allowed public dissent against the bill
The guy was arrested. Just wondering why if he was doing his job. Im trying to look into the background of the lady who brought the sign in, but I can’t find anything yet.
It didn’t appear that the person who took the sign tore it up, just crumpled it up. It appeared that the person then put it into a trash can, but probably just threw it on the floor because it would be odd for a trash can to be located there.
What does Rosa Parks have to do with socialized medicine?
Could the whole thing have been a skit? I mean, maybe the person who grabbed the sign was supposed to grab it in order to paint people who oppose socialized health “care” as racist, although I don’t know how one person who snatches a sign can make anyone besides himself look like anything.
It’s a crazy world.
I was wondering what was printed on the light blue T-shirt. Thanks. That clears things up.
Liberal manufactured “scandal”. So transparent.
I find it much more disturbing that we’re worrying about a photograph (I don’t care of whom) when a real human being (I don’t care of what color) got beat up at another Town Hall by a Democrat.
Why do we jump to conclusions about “bad” protesters when, sure enough, it wasn’t one of us.
If we react this way every time an “incident” may have occurred, then the Dems own us.
Well she did seem to miss the signs posted that said no signs allowed in the townhall meeting. She also failed to listen when told to put the sign away.
