There is a rumor flying around that a protester was dragged out of Claire McCaskil's town Hall meeting tore up a picture of Rosa Parks.
Anyone else got a real link to this? Or is it just a fabrication of the liberal blogs?
The liberals are doing some heavy duty drugs right now as they watch their short-lived Communist Utopia USA crumble. I’d take everything they say with a grain of salt. Hysteria has really set in over there.
Smells like desperation to me.
Since everybody and their dog is videotaping these events now, I’ll wait until I see it posted on YouTube.
Until then, BS.
I agree
I was going to blog about how I saw some lefties eating live puppies in front of a townhall meeting yesterday. It’s true, everyone should start blogging about it, you know to make it more true...
Wow.
Tearing up a PICTURE of a media-created “civil rights” icon.
In the eyes of the RaceMedia, he’d have been much better off engaging in videotaped, serial axe murder.
The impact of a story like this could be very damaging no matter how untrue. This is why we must keep our skirts clean! There must not be anything which could be construed as racially motivated.
There is a site which purports to have tea party signs. However, they inadvisedly have a poster which refers to “blacks”. There are so many weak points to the Democrat position that there is really no reason to go there. Anything said along these lines will be deliberately misconstrued.
Who cares if he did?
It’s not like he beat up an actual black person, like Dem thugs did.
I heard of a guy that was dressed-up as Foghorn Leghorn and was goosestepping around in circles while holding a comb up to his nose!!
And that was at a DNC meeting!!
The test to put all these tales to would be the classic “who benefits?”
Invoking an icon of the Civil Rights era such as Rosa Parks with a photo, and tearing it up in a highly public manner, benefits who?
Certainly not those opposed to government control of health care.
It benefits those who want to paint all opposition of government health care as racist.
So, if indeed this actually happened, even a cursory amount of research will reveal a deliberate attempt at provocation, by those in favor of government health care. Of that, I am certain.
And they accuse us of spreading misinformation and lies...
Hard to tell, but could have been one of her own people that tore it up.

There is a big difference between the actions of one lone protester and the President calling in Union Thugs.
It may be true or it may be false, but the equivalence of this makes me sick.
Thank you.
That was very helpful. :)
Just when you thought liberals couldn’t go any lower....
That’s not exactly what happened, there’s a lot more to the story, but yes, a town hall attendee did tear up a sign that another attendee had and it did apparently have something about Rosa Parks on it.
There was a no-sign rule for inside the town hall meeting. Two women brought in the sign (said they didn’t know about the rule, even though a sign was posted at the entrance stating the rule). They were asked by McCaskil during the town hall to put the sign away, which they apparently did.
Then, allegedly a reporter asked to see the sign to photograph it and they got it out again. At that point another person came over agitated and took the sign from the two women and tore it up.
One of the women sign owners got in his face and the potential melee was broken up by security who hauled both of them out of the hall. The sign tearer was arrested, the woman sign owner was not.
The sign owner is black, the sign tearer is white ... so of course, the whole incident is racist ... and that’s all you really need to know about the story according to the MSM.
You can see the whole thing on You Tube from various angles, but it’s hard to tell exactly what is going on from the video, except at the end the cameras are focussed on the black woman being dragged out by security while screaming something.
I’m sure there is much more to the story. Hopefully we’ll get all the facts about it. McCaskil commented on the incident today and said it was not racist ... which puts her in the hot seat with the race baiters.
