There is a rumor flying around that a protester was dragged out of Claire McCaskil's town Hall meeting tore up a picture of Rosa Parks.
Anyone else got a real link to this? Or is it just a fabrication of the liberal blogs?
This does not help. Various videos of the incident, and it paints it as racist where it did not need to be. This person did not help, but added fuel to the fire about it being about race.
Could someone please explain why this woman was waving around a poster of Rosa Parks at a health care town hall?
And why would a reporter be more interested in her damn poster than in covering the topic?
If we have a health care town hall (big IF) I’ll bring a poster of Edgar Allen Poe. Let them try and rip THAT from my cold dead hands.
How about David Allen Coe? :)
I would care. As a black conservative who is against this “health care reform” bill, I would find it very disturbing if this was true. Mrs. Parks, by all accounts, was a fine, upstanding woman who risked much to make a stand, just like any black conservative would. I hope that in the future that people who want to be heard will keep everything above board, because we don’t want to be like them (Dems)
The liberals will construe anything they like as being racially motivated - the truth be hanged. And the lie told often enough becomes truth.
The sign owner is black, the sign tearer is white ... so of course, the whole incident is racist ... and thats all you really need to know about the story according to the MSM.
Although the sign owner was in the wrong for having the sign, the sign tearer should not have damaged someone else’s personal property. The Bible says we are to abstain from the “very appearance of evil”, right. He made a boo boo.
No kidding! I wonder when they escaped their parents basement to go by them?!
There is no evidence that the sign tearer even knew the content of the sign. He/she may have just been angry at the women diplaying the signs after they had been told NO SIGNS.
I think he/she was wrong to take the signs, but there is no evidence that this was race based.
So why is the lady with the sign lead out by police instead of the guy they are accusing of tearing up the sign?!

There must be more to this than what is being shown here.
Isn’t it odd how both the left and the White Supremist movement have both finally come to the conclusion that the only way to save America is to plunge it into a race war. They’ve at least they’ve found common ground on something.
He was led out too. He was arrested. She was not.
There's only one problem, they guy who started it is clearly not a health care protester, or opposed to McCaskill, as this blown-up closeup of the video clearly shows.
What's that on the back of his shirt? Yes, it says, "VOLUNTEER."
Unless by McCaskill has taken to hiring "teabaggers" instead of SEIU goons as thugs for her events, it's pretty obvious that the man who tore up the Rosa Parks posters was a McCaskill stooge. As the TPM link indicates it looks like he got arrested later.
Need more proof? McCaskill warned the crown that signs were not allowed.
VOLUNTEER guy tore up the lady's sign!
We must be able to win in the field of public opinion. The gays have support because the media refuses to report that pedophiles and lewd displays are featured in their parades. The media knows that public opinion would turn against them if the truth were known.
The media will give us no such cover. For that reason we police our ranks and do not allow Nazi types in our demonstrations. (I realize that Nazi’s are actually leftists, but that is an entirely different discussion.) The point is we police our ranks and keep our skirts clean. For the same reason, racial pejoratives have no place in our signage.
Commie propaganda has no place on FR.
Somehow every single cable news network has missed this so far...
Update: Here’s a photo of the man being arrested. He still hasn’t been identified.
Given the heated atmosphere, the announced policy, and the man’s shirt it looks more likely that the crowd is appluading the enforcement of the announced rules, which everyone else in the audience is clearly abidding by, than chearing the destruction of Rosa Parks posters. Those cheering can’t even see the posters.
For what it’s worth Organizing for America (Obama’s campaign arm) signed up 636 people who said they were attending the meeting, and the St. Louis Tea Party group was not officially attending since they had already met with McCaskill.
We will be calling the Senator’s office tomorrow to see who the man was working for.
From the site.
What White Supremacist movement? Where are they, and what are they doing?
I really didnt see that, sorry. She told CNN that the guy was working for the Dem Senator?
He was with Claire McCaskill! It plainly says VOLUNTEER on his shirt! People were told by McCaskill NOT TO BRING ANY SIGNS!
