Any pro-amnesty republican is totally unacceptable.

NO ILLEGALS
NO AMNESTY
NO COMPROMISE

Now do y’all realize why I was hesitant to support her?

You’re right, she’s for a “pathway to citizenship” for illegals currently in the country, which is the nice way of saying “anmesty”.
Be prepared to have her worshipers blister you for pointing this out, however.

Seems to me she said "a path to citizenship", which is the same path ALL immigrants have taken over the years; the LEGAL path.
She is totally against AMNESTY for the illegals already here, too.
Fine them; deport them, and let them get in line as they are supposed to....THAT is the "path" she's talking about, I think.

Not so fast.
She may have something there. There are ways to deal with illegals.
It’s still better then any Marxist could do.

There is already a pathway for citizenship. Get in line and follow the rules.

This was when she was McAmnesty’s running mate. It wouldn’t have gone over well to say otherwise.

Sarah Palin: There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant -
ICE wouldn't have to physically round up all of them if our existing immigration laws were strictly enforced. Many would leave the country voluntarily in order to avoid being caught.

This does not sound like Sarah. This was after she joined McCain, and sounds like she was trying to straddle the fence McCain built--he is/was for amnesty, but also wants to follow the law--makes no sense.
I would like to hear a coherent answer today.

My own views have been evolving lately, just as my views on the “war on drugs” evolved. I now favor amnesty, for practical considerations. What I’m in favor of are people coming here to work. What I’m against is people coming here to live off the American welfare system (regardless of whether they also have a job, if they can work they shouldn’t be on welfare).

I would like to hear Mrs. Palin’s view now that she is not under lock and key by the McCain camp. I will reserve my opinion until she makes her view known away from that RINO. Right now she’s one of the few we have and I hope this is not her final stance on the matter.

Maybe she figures that since we are letting them vote and screw up the country with their socialism, we might has well put them on the path to the welfare office too.

A path to legality means amnesty until you sort them all out. A de facto amnesty when considering how long it would take. Ugg... they’re everywhere...

Why would you post an article from October 2008, to what, undermine what she has said about DeathCare, did it hurt you so much to see her punk Obama that you had to post this.
Secondly, this was from when she was with the McCain campaign, and she has said since on her twitter page that she is against illegal immigration. So I am going to wait to see what she says NOW as far as her opinion compared to what she said as McCain’s running mate
To: RebelYell1990
This is the end of my support for Sarah. I was sending her a modest check every month from my pension. No more. I will not vote for her for any office.
