She is totally against AMNESTY for the illegals already here, too.
Fine them; deport them, and let them get in line as they are supposed to....THAT is the "path" she's talking about, I think.
Univision: To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
Sarah Palin: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.
Univision: What is your strategy? How are you planning to win the latino vote?
Sarah Palin: I will tell you, I wish that there were more hours in the day so that we can get out there and to more of the communities with such the strong Latino vote that is out there and really tell them that we desire to work for them. We are asking them to hire us and let us work for them.
That’s what I was thinking.
She’s as smart as she is pretty.
Not like the duh, uh, blaa, blaa, blaa Marxist who wants to be seen as pure black and can’t make a speech without forked tongue & teleprompters.
Just an observance.
Seems to me she said “a path to citizenship”, which is the same path ALL immigrants have taken over the years; the LEGAL path.

And HOW, exactly, does that differ from any of the other Rhino statements on amnesty...including GWBush’s???
I believe you are right Legal immigration is not amnesty. I don’t know a single politician who is against legal immigration. From what I see and read, thats all there is to it. And thats a good position for her to have.It seems like the title contradicts what is said by her. What am I missing here?
This is hard to understand why?
Could be. "Pathway to citizenship" is a vague term and the interviewer didn't bother to define the term.
