Now do y’all realize why I was hesitant to support her?
To: RebelYell1990
You’re right, she’s for a “pathway to citizenship” for illegals currently in the country, which is the nice way of saying “anmesty”.
Be prepared to have her worshipers blister you for pointing this out, however.

Seems to me she said "a path to citizenship", which is the same path ALL immigrants have taken over the years; the LEGAL path.
She is totally against AMNESTY for the illegals already here, too.
Fine them; deport them, and let them get in line as they are supposed to....THAT is the "path" she's talking about, I think.

If true, this is very dissapointing.
Very very dissapointing.
I sick of compromises on core issues.

We need to spread the word on this site. I am concerned for America and support Conservatism and Constitutionalism in Government as the rest of us on this site do. And as Americans first and Conservatives second we must stand against any and all politicians who stand against the rule of law and nation sovereignty.

Not so fast.
She may have something there. There are ways to deal with illegals.
It’s still better then any Marxist could do.

There is already a pathway for citizenship. Get in line and follow the rules.

This was when she was McAmnesty’s running mate. It wouldn’t have gone over well to say otherwise.
To: GSP.FAN
Univision: To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
Sarah Palin: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.
To: RebelYell1990
Sarah Palin: There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant -
ICE wouldn't have to physically round up all of them if our existing immigration laws were strictly enforced. Many would leave the country voluntarily in order to avoid being caught.

As most do, you INFER what YOU think she said; she clearly stated "NO AMNESTY", and the "path" is the legal one ALL immigrants take.
I don't consider myself a "worshiper" of her; just a Conservative who sees a legitimate conservative candidate, FAR from the RINO-types like Romney, McCain, Huckabee, etc., and FAR from the loonies like Ron Paul.

This does not sound like Sarah. This was after she joined McCain, and sounds like she was trying to straddle the fence McCain built--he is/was for amnesty, but also wants to follow the law--makes no sense.
I would like to hear a coherent answer today.
