The Health Care Bill is a Pain to Read Online.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PRLog (Press Release) – Aug 07, 2009 – "Read the Bill" is what the opponents of the health care bill are saying.

That's easier said than done. It's over 1,000 pages, and hard to read online. Printing it will probably run you out of ink, and will use two reams of paper. So if you want to read it, what else can you do?

Printme1.com prints professional quality handbooks, manuals, and reference materials, and is turning on its on-demand print engine to help Americans better understand the proposed legislation.

Matt Vidic, developer, says "Reading this bill online is very tiring, and printing it at home on a single-sided printer will take more than two reams of paper and plenty of ink. Printme1.com is the perfect solution for printing high page count documents like this bill. And we've simplified the process more than usual this time. You don't even need to upload the PDF because we already have it. Just visit our website. It's that easy."

The proposed health care bill, H.R. 3200, the bill is 1,018 pages long. Printme1.com will print and ship copies of it for $35.63, or 3.5¢ per page. The prints are double-sided, which reduces the weight. All copies are shrink-wrapped and three hole punched for use in a standard three-ring binder. The price includes shipping and takes 7-10 days to arrive in the mail. Payments are accepted by credit card through Paypal.

This is a vanity post. I was up at night trying to read the bill on my laptop, and really wiped out my eyes. This happened after each sitting. I'm guessing that alot of us older freepers have had a similar reaction.

Printme1.com is offering to print and ship copies of it $35.63 each. The thought of getting a double sided print of that can read like a book seems useful.

Maybe the representatives might use it too...
