I am heading to the SEIU Acorn event in Tampa where our Congresscommie Kathy Castor is holing up protected by the Acorn and Union thugs. I am eager to engage the enemy. Damn I have not been so excited in years. NO FEAR!

They are so used to manufacturing dissent—with their government-funded protesting organizations, assembly-line placards, and advertising slogans—they can’t recognize reality when it hits them.

I had thought that the revolution would begin when Obama tried to take away guns. But now I think that may not be the flashpoint.

If you look at the polls, if you look at the town halls, you have to conclude that no legitimate representative form of government will ever pass this healthcare bill.

If it DOES pass, then I think there is no reason not to go Henry Bowman.

Yesterday, Wednesday, Aug. 5th, Congressman David Price of the 4th district of North Carolina was a no-show for a scheduled presentation to the Durham Lions Club for their weekly meeting. No one but Lions Club members present.

screaminsunshine,

Wish I could be there with you.

Be sure to take your blood pressure medicine; you’ll likely need it.

You are venturing into the heart of darkness. I am genuinely convinced that if the United States were to descend into a Kim Jong Il-style North Korean Marxist dicatorship, one-third of Americans would be utterly for their “Dear Leader.” And the SEIU and ACORN types would be the staunchest members of “the Party.”

LOL Yea they have to act fast, Obama is going to get thrown out on his a$$ and the Democrats are going to be politically ruined for decades to come. I am looking forward to that Implosion with undisguised glee.

I wasn’t familiar with the “Henry Bowman” reference.

I read the summary on Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unintended_Consequences_(novel)

I never so much as thought about such things ever before - until now.

Sooner or later, our society will completely collapse. It may take two years, it may take 10. It would have been “crazy land” territory to wholeheartedly embrace survivalism a decade ago. But it is appearing to be a better and better idea now.

One creative Democrat feigned an illness for his child so he could relocate the venue of his town hall to a children’s hospital. The idea was to force Obamacare opponents to pretend to be nice...

It is frankly amazing.

Democrats have literally OWNED the term “organizing” for decades. They have routinely bussed in HOMELESS people to vote or protest. They have their Marxist-Redshirt ACORN mobs to scream in front of banks, etc.

Yet somehow a busload of conservatives becomes some kind of massive threat to Democracy itself.

And you’ve got mainstream media types like Charles Gibson gravely parroting - I mean reporting - that “this appears to be ‘manufactured outrage.’

And they point to some damn email - which they in actual fact DOCTORED - as proof that Republican robots had been activated.

I HAVEN’T GOTTEN ANY MARCHING ORDERS IN MY EMAIL, BUT DAMN I’M READY TO SHOW UP AND GIVE SOME SOCIALIST HELL FOR TRYING TO TAKE OVER MY HEALTH CARE.

No form of a government health plan can be allowed to pass. The Stalinists only want to get some form of a plan passed. They don't care whether it comes anywhere close to what their final plan (1,000+ pages) looks like as long as they get something on the books. Once it is there it is only a matter of time before they will try to incrementally expand it. It may take years but the final result is exactly what we already see in the House bill. We can't let it start. We can't let them get a foot in the door. We can't allow them to get a toe in the door. We can't afford to open the door even if it is just a crack. The Income Tax code began as a 14 page document. Social Security payroll taxes were only a fraction of one percent of wages when it passed and payouts were tax exempt. The New Deal was a series of incremental programs (FDR couldn't afford to let the Depression end). Medicare didn't have Plan A, B, C, or D when it first passed. These disasters were the final products of plans which were sold as "just a minuscule fraction" of government expense. TODAY, THE COUNTRY IS BANKRUPT BECAUSE OF THESE PROGRAMS. We cannot accept any compromise upfront. THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE PLAN IS NO PLAN.

I’d be willing to see health care reform that:
1) reformed the scope/extent of lawsuits;
2) eliminated mandates that impose often silly requirements for private health care coverage;
3) required proof of citizenship for health care unless they had the cash to pay for it in their hands.

But you’ll never see that from Democrats. So I’m with you.

There is so much evidence that Democrats are trying to create a system that will LEAD TO GOVERNMENT CARE that I don’t trust them for ANY “reform.”

Medicare has an unfunded liability of $61.6 TRILLION dollars, and will go bankrupt by 2017. Maybe they could fix IT first before they screw up the rest of the health care system.

How do they explain the crumbling support in the polls for Obamacare? Who’s manufacturing that?

I bet they don’t have a single photo of a bus. Unlike the video we have of their new black pather party friends with nightsticks.

That’s what makes this so pathetic and so absurd.

The polls show that Obamacare has lost popular support across the board, yet somehow those who oppose it must somehow be Republican robots activated by conspiratorial emails.

I don’t know if they have a picture of Republicans showing up in buses or not. I don’t doubt that in some cases a group of Republicans showed up in a bus.

The outrageous thing is the obvious fact that SO FREAKING WHAT??? Democrats have never organized? Democrats have never showed up at an event in a bus? Democrats never sent a freaking EMAIL?

The thing that makes this utterly despicable is the fact that the Democrats come out and demagogue, and then the mainstream media dutifully reports it as a matter of fact.

When Soylent Green time comes, eat the damn media first.

Tort reform, elimination of "unfunded" mandates, and immigration reform are all issues which can be dealt with separately outside of a health care bill. To include them as payoffs for RINOs and Blue Dogs to get approval of a health care bill is a tactic to get a health care bill in some form. The real danger of a health care bill is the ability for the libs to legislate "life style" which in my mind is equal to eliminating liberty and freedom. They want CONTROL OVER THE INDIVIDUAL at any cost and that is unacceptable to me. NO PLAN is the only way to assure whatever is left of our personal independence prevails.

I can’t disagree with that. Nor would I be willing to trade even all 3 for a “single payer system.”

The other thing is that all three of these things are essentially elements of government run amok. In California, hospitals CANNOT ASK FOR citizenship status. Mandates are imposed by state and federal governments. And the whole idea of “tort reform” is itself part of activist judges run amok.

In other words, to make our health care system better, we need to find more ways to get government the hell out of it - NOT get government more involved.
