The Obama administration has announced a program asking everyone to spy on their neighbors. The call for an army of spies was announced in a White House’s internet site blog:
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.”
Why is anybody surprised at Obama's attempts at intimidating any dissent? During the campaign it was one of his favorite tactics:
Well, I did alert the flag@gov email site to let them know of “fishy information”. I told them I heard that Obama was accused of saying he “was in favor of a single payer system...but it may take awhile. First we have to get the house back, the senate back, and the white house back”.
I also did my duty to tell them who the rabble rouser was so they could take “appropriate action”...his name is barak obama.
Go get ‘em white house brown shirts!!!
Once you are reported to the White House by your neighbor or co worker or someone who overhears your conversation-
then what happens ?
A knock on the door in the middle of the night ?
Hiding your family in the attic ?
Tattoos ?
Reeducation camps ?
Have any of the quislings in the media bothered to ask the White House what Chancellor Obama
plans to do to his new found information about the undesirables ?
So, are we at war with Eurasia or Eastasia this week.
I understand there is a “companion” site: dial up “fag@house.gov” and ask for Bawney. He likes really big stimulating “projects.”

I grew up in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and had the opportunity to talk to a lot of Cubans. They were terrified of their own children, because the kids were taught that it was good and proper to watch mommie and daddy and to tell the government officials at school if they say or do anything that reflects poorly on the state.
I watched a news segment yesterday that said there's just as many germs on a cell phone as there is on a toilet seat. So....don't lick either one of them.
The only person I could think of who might be worried about this was Barney Frank.

In Russia 50 yrs ago they had a famous kid who ratted out his parents and Stalin strolled him around as a hero.
The broad expansion of Federal ambitions under the Bush Administration to conduct domestic monitoring and surveillance may have been more palatable when there was a FR-supported administration in the White House, but it established a precedent for activities now being conducted by Obama. The tools Bush created are now completely at Obama's disposal, for Obama's ends.
We could play the devils advocate and put up posters demanding everyone turn in their disobedient neighbors for the sake of the great collective, and put this White house e-mail address on it.
That is what the democrats are asking people to do, isn't it?

Imagine how you would have felt if President Bush’s administration had encouraged American citizens to inform on other American citizens for daring to speak ill about his attempted Social Security reform. You would be understandably furious, and rightfully outraged by a government run amok, trampling one of our sacred of our civil liberties—Our right to free speech. Yet you give Obama a pass. Why?
Well, I’m ready to earn my spot on the government’s list of subversive enemies of state: The goal of this so-called healthcare reform is not noble. It is about surrendering your freedom to ever-increasing government control. Obama is lying when he says he wants private insurance to co-exist with a public option. Here, in his own words, before he knew he would have to lie to get it passed, he affirms his goal of single-payer, universal healthcare:

Apples/Oranges, that was shortly after 911 and nobody knew where the sleeper cells were. The Extreme Left Media went nuts over that idea and are now predictably quiet. This WH wants us to report on each other not terrorists.

The Government will use all in its power to break the back of the anti-Obama movement. Sorry, Americans don’t play that game. Every use of force will be countered. This can’t end well. By 2012 there may not even be a USA. We could become broken into several states. I would never have imagined I would live to see this.
