This is a simple thing to put to rest. I have a passport and a birth certificate. I can produce them at my house in a matter of minutes. I have not spent a million dollars to either acquire them...or to hide them.

This is not a unreasonable thing to ask for since being a "natural born citizen" of the US is a constitutional requirement for the job of President. It's not hateful, and it's not racist.

Proving that you are should be an honor.

Yet Obama cannot and will not produce either. Why?

The following document is a Certified Copy of Registration of Birth, puporting to be from Kenya. It has gotten a lot of press. It has a number of issues which means, IMHO, that in all probability that it is not authentic. Yet, it looks more authentic than the electronic Certificate of Live Birth (COLB, not the long form Birth Certificate which has never been offered) that the Obama administration has shown on their web site.

The point is, this supposed document is out there and is being analyzed to death and will ultimately be certified one way or the other by experts. Obama's long form birth certificate is not...it is getting no such review. The longer it is absent, the more insistent the demands will be for it to be made public.

A number of military Officers are now suing for Obama to prove and show his "bonafides" before deploying, because for them, it becomes a life or death issue to follow their Commander in Chief. The same applies in principle to all citizens. In the end, Obama will not be able to forever hide from proving the constitutional qualification.

If these so called "birthers" are proven right, it'll be interesting to see what Beck will say.

In my opinion, with regards to the "birther" thing. It would be best to be observant, but also open to anything that may come up. And most of all, don't jump to conclusions and claim them as fact unless fact comes about.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring.

Beck is like Savage in that both are emotionally unstable and always seem on the verge of a breakdown. Granted they will have different types of breakdowns when they finally happen. People shouldnt put too much faith in either of these guys.

Beck and **all** the commentators on Fox News have gotten their marching orders from the highest executives in the company. Is there even **one** Fox commentator defending the Constitutionalists? No, there isn't.

It is time to inundate the management of Fox news with a blizzard of compliants. What's going on here? Did the chief executive of Fox wake up one morning with a horse's head in his bed?

This whole birth certificate thing is based on wild speculation. There is nothing to show that Obama was born anywhere but Hawaii. If people want to fret over whether Obama was born in Hawaii, fine, but there are more substantive things we could be taking issue with.

Overall I like Beck. That doesn’t mean I agree with everything that comes out of his mouth. But I agree with him a fair percentage of the time, and when I don’t agree I usually understand where he’s coming from.

On this issue, he may be buying in to the media depiction of what we’re about. The media likes to talk about our crazy claims, when in fact I at least mostly don’t claim anything. I want to see the original birth certificate, and I want to know what citizenship he claimed in college.

For the most transparent president ever, that shouldn’t be too difficult. This is a guy who has sealed every record he ever had, but all I want is the original birth certificate, and to know what citizenship he claimed in college. If that makes me crazy in bizarro-world, then I’ll deal with it somehow.

I love Glenn Beck and I think it’s a shame that he has to crap on people for something they (me) believe in and he get treated the same way by people for his “wild” theories.
